This document provides a series of questions to guide readers in analyzing fiction and non-fiction extracts. For fiction, it prompts the reader to identify characters, setting, genre, unfamiliar words, and effective writing techniques. It also asks the reader to predict what might happen next and continue the story. For non-fiction, it asks about the topic, author's viewpoint, when it is set, format, and most important line. An extension question invites the reader to share their own viewpoint on the topic.

write the definition.
