Holi is a Hindu festival celebrated in March that marks the arrival of spring and the end of winter. It is known as the "Festival of Colors" where people throw colored powders and spray colored water on each other, and celebrate good triumphing over evil through singing, dancing and revelry. The night before involves lighting a large bonfire for festivities.
