7. When the Google Arts Project expanded their gallery, the Artists Rights
Society requested that they remove 21 of the images due to copyright
infringement
8. Even Google doesn’t completely understand the laws and semantics behind
artists copyright laws
9. Piccasso’s Les Demoiselles d’ Avignon was requested to be use in The Titanic
in 1997 and they were denied by Picasso’s family.
However a modified version appeared in the film anyways

Without them, 50,000 artists would have to accept that they will never be
compensated, never be recognized, never be acknowledged!
