Katelynn Mudgett created a presentation on the trials, importance, and contributions of female farmers. While there was a lot of information to include, she chose details that showed this is a serious topic. Female farmers currently produce over 80% of the world's food but face many challenges. They have limited access to resources and training. However, programs that provide better access, such as a coffee cooperative in the 1980s, allowed female farmers to improve their operations and make contributions to the local economy. Increasing support for female farmers is needed to help address world hunger issues.
