With companies such as Microsoft and Cisco vying for market share, the lack of statistical information about market
size is almost academic from the standpoint of a start-up. The competition has taken to the airwaves, suggesting
that a broad consumer market exists, and that a demand for online meetings resonates in the corridors of
corporate America. The recent economic climate, although hopefully not a lasting malaise, also helps to make a
case for online meetings instead of costly travel. It is difficult to extract financial details from the financials of
Microsoft and Cisco as they relate to income from online meetings subscriptions and usage. Nonetheless, the key
question becomes: How does a fledgling organization muscle its way into such exalted company? The answer will
be: By making video conferencing and collaboration very easy to do and use on any device including big video
conferencing devices based on h323/SIP standards.
Challenge
AdriaComm is in the business of providing comprehensive and secure software for the purpose of conducting
meetings on line, backed by patented intellectual property that protects the company from predatory competition.
Revenue from licenses for the use of the AdriaComm patents is included in the business model. The idea is to make
a product that traverses all H323/SIP inherited boundaries regarding firewall restrictions and make a client that
works in any network environment without restrictions whatsoever.

We all worked together at my startup Cromerica Technologies. We were consulting with many technology
companies in the Silicon Valley developing software for them (including ATT Labs, Intel, Zip2 (cofounded by Elon
Musk - his first startup), and many more. Whenever we had extra time we were working on our AdriaComm project.
Story
The solution is "firewall adapter" developed and patented by AdriaComm LLC. It is easy to have any umber of
Polycom, Cisco and any other "big" and small professional video conferncing system work with any other device
(phone, computed, tablet) seamlessly.
What differenates AdriaCom from others that are addressing the same problem is that it will provide a maximum
security where you can control everything, the patented technology which will give a protection against legal actions
and a unique flexibility with every facet of meetings, all security measures and scaleable.

1. Our platform applies AI (Artificial Intelligence) and Complex Event Processing to plan and track logistic operation

The startup is an innovative medical technology company. My passion in entrepreneurship and experience in
enterprise -level business is what sparked an interest initially. Having worked as a front-end software developer for
a diabetes management application is how the idea of medical technology came about.
The primary business strategy is a licensing revenue model. The company currently contracts with specialists in
respective disciplines to develop the medical device. The technical terminology for the device is referred to as a
non-invasive metabolic panel. The device operates two fold: 1) it serves a non-invasive blood analysis device,

It is estimated that each year more than 1.5 million people suffer from doctors’ handwritings and more than 7000
die. It is only in US. Just imagine what is going on in the rest of the world. In many countries (especially in former
Soviet Union or countries where compulsory medical insurance is absent) usually doctors write pharmacy
prescription by hand (it is almost impossible to understand what is written in that piece of paper as some part are
written in LATIN) in paper and nobody register this action. Many doctors do not ask patients about their other
illness or which medicine patient accepts current time. People have no idea what medicine they were written for
instance 3 months ago, who and when put diagnosis or wrote prescription, where they purchased last medicines
and etc. NO IDEA! But it is so important.

Based on SaaS (Software As A Service), MedNot is a project aimed to attain paperless prescription system in the
country. MedNot – the online network, capable to include physician – patient – drugstore relations, maintain

Deciding to execute the idea, I (Ahmet) started searching for the correct team and through a lot of contacts met
with Guney and Vildan. They both believed in the idea and we established our founders' team. We started
development in Jun 2014 and went live with MVP in Aug 2014. Our focus was on the social b2c portal at the

behaviour has been changing for the past decade now they are unwilling to pay more than half price for any item
sold on eBay even if the item is brand new. On the other hand, combined eBay + PayPal fees come as high as
1213% of gross value of goods sold. Hence, finding good resale item is key to success for any seller. As of now most
of the purchases are made in physical stores in “Sale” sections, which is time consuming and inefficient or on
multiple deep discount sites, which often comes with a risk of getting a knockoff, which negatively affects the
reputation of the seller and could lead to sanctions from eBay.

The original idea behind the startup was creating an ultimate informational resource helping shoppers find
