Fashion in the 70s had
very colorful clothes.
Women started to wear
bell bottom pants of
different colors. Also,
the shirts were
decorated with many
flowers and the skirts
used to be long and
colorful. The shoes had
wide and tall heels.
Their hair style was also
different. In the 70s it
was the hippie
movement.

3. Current Fashion
Nowadays clothes are
very plain without
much pattern and less
decorated. Trousers
are tight and women
usually wear mini-skirts
with high heels
or boots. Most
women have long and
straight hair. Current
fashion is a mix of all
the previous fashions.

• In the 70s skirts were longer than current
ones.
• Nowadays trousers are tighter than in the
70s.
• Current shoes are higher than 70s ones.
• Shirts in the 70s were more decorated
than they are nowadays.
• Fashion in the 70s was more colorful than
current fashion which is plainer.
