Main Duties & Responsibilities:
Receives, records and sorts out heavy stained linen before sending linen to Laundry.
Receives records and sorts out clean linen from Laundry and arranges properly on the
shelves.
Issues linen to Food & Beverage outlets and guests floors as per requisition.
Issues uniforms to all staff and maintains uniform record.
Checks all uniforms returned from Laundry for any loose buttons and loose hems and gives
to the Tailor for mending.
Ensures that linen and uniforms are properly stored and recorded.
Answers all telephone calls to housekeeping, records in the telephone log book and relays

Reports to Supervisor of any items needing maintenance.
Makes sure linen room is clean and tidy.

3. Receives work assignment, keys and supplies from the Supervisors.
Checks all rooms to verify room status every morning.
Cleans rooms and bathrooms, performing any combination of the following duties.
Vacuums carpet and upholstered furniture, dusts and damp wipes furniture, empties
ashtrays and wastebaskets.
Makes beds, washes sink, bathtub, toilet, tiles, mirrors and floor.
Spot cleans carpet when necessary.
Cleans and keeps the guest corridors, service pantries and service areas neat and tidy at all
times.
Checks and reports any maintenance work required to the Supervisor immediately.
Reports damaged or missing items and suspicious behavior of guest to Supervisor
immediately.
Informs or removes Room Service trays and trolleys from guestroom and corridors.
