Kiwi populations are endangered due to predation by introduced predators such as cats, dogs, possums, stoats, and weasels that eat kiwi eggs and chicks. Breeding kiwis is difficult as their eggs are often predated before the chicks can mature. Kiwis eat insects like grubs and spiders, and sometimes crabs, using their long beaks to dig and their sharp claws. However, kiwis are declining further due to loss of habitat as forests are destroyed and burrows eliminated by human activity.

1. Kiwi Predators Kiwi's are endangered species. Because of Predators. Like cats,dogs, possums, stoat, weasel and rodents. They like stealing eggs and chicks. Now we have to save the kiwi's!!!

2. Breeding Breeding for a kiwi is really hard if your it's mother. Kiwi eggs have been mostly eaten by:stoats,weasel & possums. They are no longer old enough to find a mate

3. Kiwi food Kiwi's is a bug eater. It Eats : grubs,worms,spiders & sometimes it goes on the water and eats crab's .

4. The kiwi's useful body The kiwi has a long beak to dig up juicy worm and grubs. And the nostrils on the tip of its beak. Its because to smell the food in its way, the kiwi claws is sharp.

5. The habitat of a kiwi Now the kiwi is dieing because space is used for living too. Burrows are destroyed trees are cut and forests are destroyed.
