Presidente onorario il cantautore italiano Filippo Neviani in arte Nek
Venerdì 30 marzo 2012, in terra “federiciana”, presso il Teatro Rossini di Gioia del Colle (BA), alle ore
20,30 saranno consegnati i riconoscimenti della quindicesima edizione del MAGNA GRECIA AWARDS.
Il Magna Grecia Awards, ideato da Fabio Salvatore, scrittore pugliese, il cui ultimo libro autobiografico
“A braccia aperte fra le nuvole” edito da Piemme, è già successo di pubblico e critica, nasce con il fine di
valorizzare l’operato di uomini e donne nell’ambito delle diverse forme dell’arte, della comunicazione, del
sociale, in linea con l’esaltazione dell’intelletto, secondo i dettami e i valori trasmessi dalla Magna Grecia,
culla di cultura e madre di civiltà. A Gioia del Colle (BA), culla del mito di Bianca Lancia, segno dell’amore
di Federico II, persecutore e stupore delle radici magno greche, continua la tradizione di un premio che,
dalla sua primogenitura avvenuta nel 1996, ha acquisito la sua attuale caratura nazionale ed internazionale,
continuando a solcare la via dell’antichità, ponendo l’attenzione sulla forza dell’anima ed il talento di
uomini che, in svariate forme, contribuiscono a migliorare i percorsi della conoscenza e del sapere.
Solo l’amore è il fil rouge che segna la XV edizione del Magna Grecia Awards, ispirata dalla preghiera Solo
l’amore, per l’appunto, di Chiara Amirante.
Il Magna Grecia Awards, si conferma anche quest’anno un evento che vedrà protagonisti di assoluto rilievo
del mondo del cinema, del giornalismo, del sociale, della scrittura, della musica, della tv, ai quali verranno
assegnati i premi, suddivisi in tre sezioni: Riconoscimenti, Menzioni Speciali, Premio all’Eccellenza.
Per la sezione, “Riconoscimenti” i premi saranno così tributati: “Agorà” a Alessio Vinci (Giornalista e
Conduttore di “Matrix”), “Clio” a Savino Zaba (Conduttore radiofonico e televisivo di “Unomattina Storie
Vere”), “Koinè” a Carlo Vulpio (Giornalista e Inviato del Corriere della Sera), “Maska” a Giorgia Wurth
(Attrice), “Polis” a Andrea Pamparana (Giornalista e Vice Direttore del TG 5) “Spes” a Dario Cirrone
(Presidente dell’Associazione ANSABBIO), “Krònos” a Roberto Milone (Giornalista e Vice Direttore di
Raidue).
Per la sezione, “Menzioni Speciali”, i premi saranno così tributati: “Giovanni Paisiello” a Dolcenera
(Cantautrice), “Livio Andronico” a Catena Fiorello, (Scrittrice e Conduttrice televisiva), “Rodolfo Valentino –
Città di Castellaneta” a Alessandro D’Alatri (Regista).
Per la sezione, “Premio all’Eccellenza – Franco Salvatore” il riconoscimento sarà tributato a Don Davide
Banzato, (Assistente Spirituale della Comunità Nuovi Orizzonti).
2. In occasione della quindicesima edizione del prestigioso riconoscimento internazionale, si è scelto di
assegnare la Presidenza onoraria del Magna Grecia Awards al cantautore italiano Filippo Neviani in arte
Nek, che nel 2010 veniva insignito della menzione speciale “Giovanni Paisiello”. Il comitato d’onore sarà
presieduto da Mons. Dario Edoardo Viganò, Presidente della Fondazione Ente dello Spettacolo.
Sul palcoscenico, le emozioni saranno espresse da parole e note, nel segno dell’amore, vere e proprie
interpretazioni di Emiliano Fantuzzi, chitarrista, dalle tante collaborazioni artistiche, quali, Nek, Biagio
Antonacci, Gianni Morandi, Laura Pausini, L’Aura. La conduzione e la regia della Serata di Gala sarà dello
stesso Salvatore. La produzione è affidata a Damiano Petrelli per Glam Entertainment e Dub Promotion.
“Questa manifestazione non è solo la ricostruzione del percorso di tanti artisti che stanno attraversando la storia di questo Paese –
afferma Claudio De Leonradis, Presidente della Commissione Cultura della Provincia di Bari – ma ha un
approccio che fa vivere le note, i testi e le parole di chi ha suonato, narrato, raccontato e cantato l'amore, la solitudine, il dolore e
soprattutto la gioia. Tanti sentimenti che non verranno solo reinterpretati per tributare un omaggio, bensì sarà il tentativo di far vivere
quella straordinaria vicenda culturale oltre che artistica rappresentata dalle storie degli illustri premiati. Sono felice che tutto questo possa
avvenire a Gioia del Colle, città ricca di talenti creativi ed artistici nella speranza di poter stimolare ancor di più la loro voglia a spiccare
il volo”.
Il Premio è promosso dalla Provincia di Bari nell’ambito dell’Assessorato alla Cultura e patrocinato dal
Ministero per i Beni e le Attività Culturali, dalla Presidenza del Consiglio della Regione Puglia, dalla
Fondazione Ente dello Spettacolo, dal Comune di Gioia del Colle, dal Comune di Castellaneta –
Assessorato alla Cultura e ancora una volta sceglie il Palazzo Ducale di Casa Isabella, come Sua sede
istituzionale e suggestiva cornice per la cena di Gala, che ospiterà i suoi premiati.
