Facebook announced major updates at its f8 conference including: 1. Timeline, a new feature that creates a scrolling profile page summarizing a user's entire Facebook activity and content. 2. OpenGraph, which allows apps to more deeply integrate with Timeline by publishing content directly to a user's profile without prompting. 3. Partnerships with apps like Spotify, Netflix, and Hulu to share music and media preferences on Timeline.
