• Vagus runs along internal and common carotid artery
• Carotid sinus is arterial tissue, carotid body is nervous tissue
(peach/salmon in color)
• Chorda tympani is visible, facial nerve is disconnected after facial canal
(but visible)
• To identify the lacrimal nerve, look for the weird sideways nerve
(Zygomaticotemporal) running from the lacrimal gland and around the
eyeball
