We use different verb forms such as will, going to, and present continuous to talk about future plans depending on the type of plan. Will is used for spontaneous plans decided in the moment, going to is used for pre-decided plans, and present continuous is used for already arranged plans involving at least one other person where the time and place are known. Examples are given for how each verb form is used in the context of making different types of future plans.
