The student argues that year 7 and 8 students at Greytown School should be allowed to take their laptop chargers home for three reasons. First, the laptops are not fully charged by the end of the school day, making it difficult to complete work at home without a charger. Second, taking the chargers home provides more time to finish homework assignments and online activities. Third, if only trustworthy students are given chargers, this could address teacher concerns about items getting lost or broken while increasing the number of laptops going home each night.

“Should Year 7&8 at Greytown school be aloud to take the laptop chargers home?”
Should the year 7&8 students at Greytown School be able to take their laptop
chargers home I think SO!!, I think that the year 7 and 8 students should be aloud
to take the laptop chargers home as it will make it easier to do homework and
things that need to be done. And we don’t have to worry about getting to school
earlier so that our laptops will charged for so that when school starts.
Firstly:I think that we should be aloud to take our laptop chargers home because
at the end of the day our laptops aren’t charge fully. Once we take our laptops
home we have a certain amount of time before the battery dies. So then we can’t
do much on them. And when we bring our laptops back to school they are died
so we have to get to school early and some of the students don’t get to school
early enough to charge the laptops. So then when school starts we have sit by
the chargers just so we can do our school work.
Secondly: When we take our laptops home we have a certain amount of time to
do our homework, like ( spelling, basic facts, athletics, studdy ladder)ect or to up
date our wiki. And some of us have work that we haven’t finished during class
that we do at home and the teacher expect it to be finish.
Lastly: If the teachers are worried about the chargers going missing and being
broken they should only give then to people they can trust, and when the kids are
not misbehaving or being stupid but if everyone took them home then they will
stop complaining about people not taking their laptops home, but if they had their
chargers there will be an increase of laptops going home.
Should the year 7&8 students be able to take their chargers home what do you
think? My opinion is mine but your opinion could be different. So this is why I
think that the year 7&8 should be aloud to take their chargers home.
