Southwater Infant School provides an overview of their facilities and daily activities. Students arrive between 8:50-9:10 AM, hang up their coats and store lunchboxes. The school day includes a register time and sometimes assemblies in the hall where they also do PE. The office staff help students with any issues. Students are currently learning about castles in Year 2 and share artifacts they created. The school has three wings for different grades and amenities like a playground, bike shed, ICT computer suite, and gardens for each class.

2. We come in at 8.50am and hang our coats up in the cloakroom. We put our lunchboxes here too.

3. We have the register at 9.10am, and then we sometimes go to the hall for assembly. This is where we do our P.E. too.

4. Mrs Ashbolt works in our school office. We come here if we have a problem or if we have hurt ourselves and she helps us.

5. Our International work is really important, and we like to tell visitors to our school all about it!

6. Mrs McBean is our Deputy Head. Her office is a great place to come to!

7. In Year 2 we are learning all about castles at the moment. We made our own castle artefact to bring in and share.

8. Our School has three wings. Reception is Red Wing, Year 1 is Green Wing and Year 2 is Yellow Wing. This is the shared area in Green Wing.

9. We have a cycle shed to but our bikes and scooters if we use them to come to school.

10. In our playground we have a new area called the Ball Space. We can play in here with different equipment at playtimes.

11. Our ICT suite is in a mobile classroom next to the school. We have 15 computers in here.

12. We have a garden area outside. Each class has their own garden space to grow fruit and vegetables.

13. Red Wing have their own outdoor classroom with lots of things to do.

14. We also have a nursery at our school, and a before and after school club for if our parents work.

15. Our school is fantastic. It is a great place to learn!
