1. Our location was based upon, the conventions. Our first choice was to use the drama studio, to use the studio lights, after some great consideration we decided that with the theme of the kidnapping it would be better to fallow the conventions and use a dark basement style room were typically they would be held.<br />As you can see the brick walls in my shed we thought that it gives a sense of isolation, as it conveys a typical worn out basement. However as you can see the lighting is rather terrible, so we created our own lighting.<br /> <br />This was the set just before the filming. The room lights were switched off and the lights were positioned and adjusted to only shed a small amount, giving the appearance of a dark basement, the simple wooden chair in the corner adds to the connotation of isolation.<br />
