Elucidation of Essential Maps for 4Cs and Information-media Literacy

Answer the following questions:
1. Explain why the 21st-century learning skills 4C's and information-media literacy skills
are considered as the backbone of Science teaching.
- Let us consider the needs of the community as well as the learners. Since we talked
about the future of society, the 4C’s and information literacy skills manifesting and are
considered as the backbone of science teaching. First and foremost, we need to know
the 4C’s (communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and creativity) these four provide
learning which the main core is science. If these 4 meets, then every student will not leave
behind. Because information-media literacy, creates a new foundation to teach science,
nowadays, we are using television, laptop, computer, cellphone, etc., to learn.
2. How information-media literacy can be developed in teaching science?
- It can be developed by applying these activities, performing experiments, debate,
group activity, multi-media presentation, diagram making, and many more. In that way,
we maximize the use of information-media literacy.
3. Knowing the problems that affect the implementation of curriculum as mentioned in
the research can you suggest ways on how teachers can able to deal with these
problems to have a smooth implementation of the curriculum.
- The teachers, should know how to easily teach them. Try to make an
assessment. Observe your student on how they learn in every activity. And lastly,
try to engage them in more lively teaching.
