This document presents the results of an experimental investigation into improving the thermal energy storage capacity of an evacuated tube solar water heater by integrating it with phase change materials (PCMs) and nanocomposite phase change materials (NCPCMs). Three cases were tested - without PCM, with paraffin wax PCM, and with a paraffin wax-nanoparticle NCPCM. Testing involved measuring the temperature change in the water storage tank over 24 hours. The NCPCM case provided the best performance with higher water temperatures and energy/exergy efficiency compared to the non-PCM and PCM cases. In conclusion, integrating NCPCMs improves the performance and energy storage of solar water heaters

Studies in 2010 to 2018 of the energy and exergy analysis of air based PVT collectors are summarized. The energy and exergy efficiency of air based PVT collector ranges from 31% to 94% and 8.7% to 18%, respectively. In addition, flat plate solar collector is presented. Studies conducted on air based PVT collectors are reviewed.

The Effects of Tempered Glass with Low Iron Oxide (Fe2O3) Content on the Effi...IJERD Editor
In this study, the effect of glass cover on the energy and exergy efficiencies of conventional type solar air heater was investigated experimentally. Classic and tempered low iron glass were used as a glass cover. Two of collectors whose dimensions are 900x1900x170mm3 were used in the experiments. The experiments were conducted at the air flow rates of 0.02, 0.03, 0.04 and 0.05 kg/s. Energy and exergy efficiencies were evaluated regarding to experimental results. As a result of the experiments, it was found that energy efficiency of the collector equipped with tempered glass with low iron oxide content increases by an amount of 4.5%-5.3%. In case of exergy efficiency, an increase was also observed between 0.4 and 0.82 percent

In vapour absorbtion refrigeration system an absorber, a pump, a generator and a pressure reducing valve replace the compressor. We can also operate the generator with low thermal energy by exhaust heat of IC engine. The fossil fuel remain main source of energy but contribute a tremendous amount of pollutants in the environment leading to global warming ,so for the purpose of refrigerator and air conditioning a vapour absorption refrigeration system could be used. this system utilizes the wasteful heat from heavy vehicle exhaust and work on VARS which provides the cooling and reducing various costs like fuel and maintenance. The research has been done in order to recover maximum waste heat and then analyzing the system performance. Through this system the researchers has tried to find out the maximum COP. It has been found by research that generator temperature has the most effect on the release of the system. The solar still is a simple device used for obtaining fresh water for small scale demand. Due to intermittent nature of solar energy, solar still s are not continuous in nature. To make them operative for non-sunshine hours energy storage
mediums are used. In the present work an attempt has been made to utilize the energy storage capacity of Lauric acid to enhance the performance of solar still. Experiments were carried out on single basin double slope solar still in the premises of SHIATS, Allahabad in the month of February. It is observed that the nocturnal distillate output is increased by more than 17% when Lauricacid is used as energy storage medium.

In the present paper, an experimental analysis of a solar water heating collector with an integrated latent heat storage unit is presented. With the purpose to determine the performance of a device on a lab scale, but with commercial features, a flat plate solar collector with phase change material (PCM) containers under the absorber plate was constructed and tested. PCM used was a commercial semi-refined light paraffin with a melting point of 60°C. Tests were carried out in outdoor conditions from October 2016 to March 2017 starting at 7:00 AM until the collector does not transfer heat to the water after sunset. Performance variables as water inlet temperature, outlet temperature, mass flow and solar radiation were measured in order to determine a useful heat and the collector efficiency. Furthermore, operating temperatures of the glass cover, air gap, absorber plate, and PCM containers are presented. Other external variables as ambient temperature, humidity and wind speed were measured with a weather station located next to the collector. The developed prototype reached an average thermal efficiency of 24.11% and a maximum outlet temperature of 50°C. Results indicate that the absorber plate reached the PCM melting point in few cases, this suggests that the use of a PCM with a lower melting point could be a potential strategy to increase thermal storage. A thermal analysis and conclusions of the device performance are discussed.

EXPERIMENTAL STUDY ON SOLAR HEATING BY NATURAL HEAT CONVECTION AND RADIATIONADEIJ Journal
Heat storage is a good energy saving option these days. Heat storage makes it possible to use thermal
energy at the required time. Solar water heaters for construction purposes and industrial purposes are the
best source to maintain traditional energy sources and thus can maintain high quality energy and liquid or
steel fuel due to the highest rise in their prices. In recent years, using solar energy has become remarkably
cheap and especially noteworthy. The efficiency of natural solar water heater system depends on collector
and reservoir setting, design and environmental factors such as solar intensity, ambient temperature and
wind conditions. Also, the relative height of the tank and collector separation mainly affects the volume of
the Siphon thermal flow rates, including both forward and reverse flow at night. In this pilot investigation,
two parallel rectangular glass plates were connected to the hot water storage tank. The effect of the
separation space between the plates (collectors) (D) was investigated and reported. The results reported
that outlet temperature in case D= 15 cm for two plates decreased approximately 24% and 23% for two
plates. Also, the heat radiated to the room decreased as the inner space between the two plates increased,
and decreased to approximately 25% as compared to stack plates.

Abstract: The global increasing demand for refrigeration in field of refrigeration, food preservation, storages, medical services, and cooling of electronic devices, led to production of more electricity and consequently more release of CO2 all over the world which it is contributing factor of global warming on climate change. With the increase awareness towards environmental degradation due to the production, use and disposal of Chloro Fluoro Carbons (CFCs) and Hydro Chlorofluorocarbons (HCFCs) as heat carrier fluids in conventional refrigeration and air conditioning systems. Thermoelectric refrigeration is new alternative because it can convert waste electricity into useful cooling, is expected to play an important role in today's energy challenges. It does not require working fluids or any moving parts, which is friendly to the environment and it simply uses electrons rather than refrigerants as a heat carrier. Continuous efforts are given by researchers for development of thermo electric materials with increase figure of merit may provide a potential commercial use of thermoelectric refrigeration system.
In this work it has been identified that there is enormous scope to develop TER system running on solar energy and its performance evaluation along with mathematical modeling. Mathematical results can be correlate by performing experimental test set up. Present paper especially focuses on evaluation of numbers of thermoelectric cooling module; heat sink fan assembly for each module which is used to increase heat dissipation rate and time required for attaining the cooling of heat sink fan assembly after a solar power is applied.

Low water levels in feeder canals of thermal power plants causes shut down of power generations for a few days in the last few years. Apart from that the „Central Electricity Authority‟ produced a report on minimizing the overall water requirement of coal based thermal power stations, and as the report tells that a major proportion of the total water requirement of the power stations is the cooling water used.In this paper we made an attempt to perform a thermodynamic study and analysis of a 250 MW thermal power plant, to reduce the mass flow of cooling water by decreasing its temperature with the help of solar powered refrigeration system. So, here we are going to study an analytical mathematical model of a vapor absorption refrigeration system, and we will try to optimize it‟s control parameters using Taguchi L9 orthogonal array. where the cooling water coming from the cooling tower enters into a solar refrigeration system before entering to the condenser of the power plant. , and we will try to optimize it‟s control parameters using Taguchi L9 orthogonal array. As the temperature of the cooling water drops down because of the refrigeration system, the overall requirement of cooling water reduces. A mathematical model of amount of cooling water flow per second is made in this paper using Taguchi analysis.

Background and Objective Telehealth has become a well known tool for the delivery of health care in Saudi Arabia, and the perspective and knowledge of healthcare providers are influential in the implementation, adoption and advancement of the method. This systematic review was conducted to examine the current literature base regarding telehealth and the related healthcare professional perspective and knowledge in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Materials and Methods This systematic review was conducted by searching 7 databases including, MEDLINE, CINHAL, Web of Science, Scopus, PubMed, PsycINFO, and ProQuest Central. Studies on healthcare practitioners telehealth knowledge and perspectives published in English in Saudi Arabia from 2000 to 2023 were included. Boland directed this comprehensive review. The researchers examined each connected study using the AXIS tool, which evaluates cross sectional systematic reviews. Narrative synthesis was used to summarise and convey the data. Results Out of 1840 search results, 10 studies were included. Positive outlook and limited knowledge among providers were seen across trials. Healthcare professionals like telehealth for its ability to improve quality, access, and delivery, save time and money, and be successful. Age, gender, occupation, and work experience also affect health workers knowledge. In Saudi Arabia, healthcare professionals face inadequate expert assistance, patient privacy, internet connection concerns, lack of training courses, lack of telehealth understanding, and high costs while performing telemedicine. Conclusions Healthcare practitioners telehealth perceptions and knowledge were examined in this systematic study. Its collection of concerned experts different personal attitudes and expertise would help enhance telehealths implementation in Saudi Arabia, develop its healthcare delivery alternative, and eliminate frequent problems. This research investigates the nexus between online discussions on Dr. B.R. Ambedkars ideals and their impact on social inclusion among college students in Gurugram, Haryana. Surveying 240 students from 12 government colleges, findings indicate that 65 actively engage in online discussions, with 80 demonstrating moderate to high awareness of Ambedkars ideals. Statistically significant correlations reveal that higher online engagement correlates with increased awareness p 0.05 and perceived social inclusion. Variations across colleges and a notable effect of college type on perceived social inclusion highlight the influence of contextual factors. Furthermore, the intersectional analysis underscores nuanced differences based on gender, caste, and socio economic status. The Role of Mentoring and Its Influence on the Effectiveness of the Teaching ...ijtsrd
This paper reports on a study which was conducted to investigate the role of mentoring and its influence on the effectiveness of the teaching of Physics in secondary schools in the South West Region of Cameroon. The study adopted the convergent parallel mixed methods design, focusing on respondents in secondary schools in the South West Region of Cameroon. Both quantitative and qualitative data were collected, analysed separately, and the results were compared to see if the findings confirm or disconfirm each other. The quantitative analysis found that majority of the respondents 72 of Physics teachers affirmed that they had more experienced colleagues as mentors to help build their confidence, improve their teaching, and help them improve their effectiveness and efficiency in guiding learners’ achievements. Only 28 of the respondents disagreed with these statements. With majority respondents 72 agreeing with the statements, it implies that in most secondary schools, experienced Physics teachers act as mentors to build teachers’ confidence in teaching and improving students’ learning. The interview qualitative data analysis summarized how secondary school Principals use meetings with mentors and mentees to promote mentorship in the school milieu. This has helped strengthen teachers’ classroom practices in secondary schools in the South West Region of Cameroon. With the results confirming each other, the study recommends that mentoring should focus on helping teachers employ social interactions and instructional practices feedback and clarity in teaching that have direct measurable impact on students’ learning achievements. This study primarily focuses on the design of a high side buck converter using an Arduino microcontroller. The converter is specifically intended for use in DC DC applications, particularly in standalone solar PV systems where the PV output voltage exceeds the load or battery voltage. To evaluate the performance of the converter, simulation experiments are conducted using Proteus Software. These simulations provide insights into the input and output voltages, currents, powers, and efficiency under different state of charge SoC conditions of a 12V,70Ah rechargeable lead acid battery. Additionally, the hardware design of the converter is implemented, and practical data is collected through operation, monitoring, and recording. By comparing the simulation results with the practical results, the efficiency and performance of the designed converter are assessed. The findings indicate that while the buck converter is suitable for practical use in standalone PV systems, its efficiency is compromised due to a lower output current. Energy becomes sustainable if it meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. Some of the definitions of sustainable energy include the considerations of environmental aspects such as greenhouse gas emissions, social, and economic aspects such as energy poverty. Generally far more sustainable than fossil fuel are renewable energy sources such as wind, hydroelectric power, solar, and geothermal energy sources. Worthy of note is that some renewable energy projects, like the clearing of forests to produce biofuels, can cause severe environmental damage. The sustainability of nuclear power which is a low carbon source is highly debated because of concerns about radioactive waste, nuclear proliferation, and accidents. The switching from coal to natural gas has environmental benefits, including a lower climate impact, but could lead to delay in switching to more sustainable options. “Carbon capture and storage” can be built into power plants to remove the carbon dioxide CO2 emissions, but this technology is expensive and has rarely been implemented. Leading non renewable energy sources around the world is fossil fuels, coal, petroleum, and natural gas. This paper aims to outline the executive regulations, survey standards, and specifications required for the implementation of the Sudan Survey Act, and for regulating and organizing all surveying work activities in Sudan. The act has been discussed for more than 5 years. The Land Survey Act was initiated by the Sudan Survey Authority and all official legislations were headed by the Sudan Ministry of Justice till it was issued in 2022. The paper presents conceptual guidelines to be used for the Survey Act implementation and to regulate the survey work practice, standardizing the field surveys, processing, quality control, procedures, and the processes related to survey work carried out by the stakeholders and relevant authorities in Sudan. The conceptual guidelines are meant to improve the quality and harmonization of geospatial data and to aid decision making processes as well as geospatial information systems. The established comprehensive executive regulations will govern and regulate the implementation of the Sudan Survey Geomatics Act in all surveying and mapping practices undertaken by the Sudan Survey Authority SSA and state local survey departments for public or private sector organizations. The targeted standards and specifications include the reference frame, projection, coordinate systems, and the guidelines and specifications that must be followed in the field of survey work, processes, and mapping products. Towards the Implementation of the Sudan Interpolated Geoid Model Khartoum Sta...ijtsrd
The discussions between ellipsoid and geoid have invoked many researchers during the recent decades, especially during the GNSS technology era, which had witnessed a great deal of development but still geoid undulation requires more investigations. To figure out a solution for Sudans local geoid, this research has tried to intake the possibility of determining the geoid model by following two approaches, gravimetric and geometrical geoid model determination, by making use of GNSS leveling benchmarks at Khartoum state. The Benchmarks are well distributed in the study area, in which, the horizontal coordinates and the height above the ellipsoid have been observed by GNSS while orthometric heights were carried out using precise leveling. The Global Geopotential Model GGM represented in EGM2008 has been exploited to figure out the geoid undulation at the benchmarks in the study area. This is followed by a fitting process, that has been done to suit the geoid undulation data which has been computed using GNSS leveling data and geoid undulation inspired by the EGM2008. Two geoid surfaces were created after the fitting process to ensure that they are identical and both of them could be counted for getting the same geoid undulation with an acceptable accuracy. In this respect, statistical operation played an important role in ensuring the consistency and integrity of the model by applying cross validation techniques splitting the data into training and testing datasets for building the geoid model and testing its eligibility. The geometrical solution for geoid undulation computation has been utilized by applying straightforward equations that facilitate the calculation of the geoid undulation directly through applying statistical techniques for the GNSS leveling data of the study area to get the common equation parameters values that could be utilized to calculate geoid undulation of any position in the study area within the claimed accuracy. Both systems were checked and proved eligible to be used within the study area with acceptable accuracy which may contribute to solving the geoid undulation problem in the Khartoum area, and be further generalized to determine the geoid model over the entire country, and this could be considered in the future, for regional and continental geoid model. Sudan is witnessing an acceleration in the processes of development and transformation in the performance of government institutions to raise the productivity and investment efficiency of the government sector. The development plans and investment opportunities have focused on achieving national goals in various sectors. This paper aims to illuminate the path to the future and provide geospatial data and information to develop the investment climate and environment for all sized businesses, and to bridge the development gap between the Sudan states. The Sudan Survey Authority SSA is the main advisor to the Sudan Government in conducting surveying, mappings, designing, and developing systems related to geospatial data and information. In recent years, SSA made a strategic partnership with the Ministry of Investment to activate Geospatial Information for Sudans Sustainable Investment and in particular, for the preparation and implementation of the Sudan investment map, based on the directives and objectives of the Ministry of Investment MI in Sudan. The US House of Representatives is deeply concerned by ongoing and pervasive acts of antisemitic
harassment and intimidation at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Failing to act decisively to ensure a safe learning environment for all students would be a grave dereliction of your responsibilities as President of MIT and Chair of the MIT Corporation.
This Congress will not stand idly by and allow an environment hostile to Jewish students to persist. The House believes that your institution is in violation of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act, and the inability or
unwillingness to rectify this violation through action requires accountability.
Postsecondary education is a unique opportunity for students to learn and have their ideas and beliefs challenged. However, universities receiving hundreds of millions of federal funds annually have denied
students that opportunity and have been hijacked to become venues for the promotion of terrorism, antisemitic harassment and intimidation, unlawful encampments, and in some cases, assaults and riots.
The House of Representatives will not countenance the use of federal funds to indoctrinate students into hateful, antisemitic, anti-American supporters of terrorism. Investigations into campus antisemitism by the Committee on Education and the Workforce and the Committee on Ways and Means have been expanded into a Congress-wide probe across all relevant jurisdictions to address this national crisis. The undersigned Committees will conduct oversight into the use of federal funds at MIT and its learning environment under authorities granted to each Committee.
• The Committee on Education and the Workforce has been investigating your institution since December 7, 2023. The Committee has broad jurisdiction over postsecondary education, including its compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act, campus safety concerns over disruptions to the learning environment, and the awarding of federal student aid under the Higher Education Act.

is used for heating the water, for producing the steam for
domestic and industrial purposes by utilizing the solar
energy. Solar energy is the energy which is coming from sun
in the form of solar radiations in infiniteamount, whenthese
solar radiations falls on absorbing surface, then they gets
converted into the heat, this heat is used for heating the
water. This type of thermal collector suffersfromheatlosses
due toradiation and convection. Such lossesincreaserapidly
as the temperature of the working fluid increases.

is to allow maximum possible amount of solar radiation to
reach the absorber part of the collector, and concurrently,
reducing thermal losses from the absorber to the minimum.
Evacuated-Tube Solar Collector (ETSC) offers feasible
solution to this problem. An evacuated tube is composed of
two coaxial glass tubes forming an annulus (Figure. 1). The
space between the two tubes is evacuated to eliminate
convective losses. The outer tube is the transparent cover
while the inner tube is the absorber which is coated from
outside (vacuum side) with a selective paint to maximize
solar absorptance. One end of the evacuated tube is closed
while the other is left open. The solar collector usually
incorporates several evacuated tubes forming a parallel
array. Heat can be extracted from the tubes by a variety of
ways. The simplest way is achieved by the direct connection
of the tubes to the storage unit. The working fluid can be
either a liquid or a gas. When water is used as the working
fluid, it is directly circulated between the tank and tube
cavity via natural circulation. The temperature range in this
type is limited by water boiling point. However, air or other
gases may also be used as working fluids which necessitates
the use of an appropriate fan or blower to circulate the fluid.
The first systematic study on an ETSC was done by Eberlein
(1976). He analyzed thermal performance of an ETSC
employing air as the working fluid. The solar collector
studied by Eberlein consisted of an array of several
evacuated tubes. Air is introduced in the middle way
between top and bottom of each tube using additional
concentric delivery conduit.Itcirculatesintheannularspace
between the delivery conduit and the absorbing tube to
collect solar thermal energy. This analytical study proposed
several mathematical models useful in the design of air
ETSCs but it was not validated by experimental tests. A
detailed numerical studyonthenatural circulationinside the
evacuated tube cavity was done by Gaa F.O. et. al. (1998). A
numerical model of the inclined open thermosyphon has
been developed using a finite difference algorithm to solve
the vorticity vector potential form of the Navier-Stokes
equations. The study was experimentallyverifiedusinglaser
doppler anemometry to measure the velocity profile at the
tube exit.

Experimental procedure
The experiments were conducted during the months of January,February,andMarch of2020,andtheaverageofat least3days
for each case had been monitored to ascertain the reliability and accuracy of the results. The test results belonging to the days
having similar solar insolation were deliberated for the further analysis. The water temperature of the collector storage tank
was monitored with three K-type thermocouples with an accuracy of ± 0.1 ℃, which had been placed in equidistance from the
bottom of the tank in order to measure the average hot water temperature during the experiment.

Conclusions
The all-glass evacuated tube solar water heater was
fabricated with built-in storage tank.
The experiments were conducted for 24 h from 6.00 a.m. to
6.00 a.m. of next day morning for all the cases.
The performance of the collector was investigated in terms
of energy efficiency, exergy efficiency, and temperature of
hot water supply during next day morning for the three
cases, namely, the first case without PCM, the second case
with PCM, and the third case with NCPCM.
