originally called the "Accordion Times and
Musical Express“. The magazine was then
taken under new management and it was re-launched

Billboard magazine was originally called Billboard Advertising as
it was a trade paper for the bill posting industry,. The magazine
then began to release information on music entertainment, such
as fairs and show details. Shortly after this it then became a
music magazine.
The rolling stone magazine was named after a variety of
music links, there was obviously the famous rock band
‘The Rolling Stones’ who everybody assumes it’s named
after, however Rollin' Stone, written recorded by Muddy
Waters was a key influence on the name.
