- I have worked my entire 20 year career in Renewables. Every Year I have seen investment in the sector grow. BY 2030 $85 TRILLION Dollars of assets will be under management. To put it in context that’s 4 times the US national debt The supply chain in these sectors NEED techno financial models to make INFORMED decisions on projects or investments. They need to know How much money will I make and WHEN BUT
- There are no standard tools that marry the worlds of technical and financial performance. All this investment is being managed through HANDBUILT tools, mostly in Excel with all the problems that entails.

- And this The Nub of the problem Its takes days or weeks to build models AND you need the expertise of at least 2 people There are no standards applied so no 2 models give the same answer. And, Once its finished, no-one outside your organisation will trust your model so it needs audit and review
- We have found on average people are spending 80% of their time building, maintaining and auditing models as opposed to USING them. Imagine spending only 1 Day out of every week being productive. We want to change that and bring a focus on Analytics and Optimisation
- But its not just us that have seen this. Last Month, The thought leaders in the investment sector across Europe came together and are crying out for a solution..
- We saw this coming. In 2011 we had the IDEA to create techno-financial software that in every way EXCEEDED the capabilities of Excel. We wanted to make a STANDARD suite of tools to bring a FOCUS on Analytics and Optimisation in the renewables sector. We achieved THIS. This CONCEPT was developed through government funding in a WORLD CLASS research centre and licensed to Exceedence in 2015 as a final software product This is the product we are selling
- Its called ExceedenceFINANCE, an On Premise, B2B Enterprise software package. This is something Robust, Standardised, Quick and easy to use and IT WILL replace in house excel models. Its like SAGE Accounting for Renewables.
- With it we can flip the 80/20 build/use ratio right on its head. This saves time and resource and gets the user to the Analysis phase quickly allowing a deeper focus on optimisation and risk reduction Ultimately There will be more projects AND they will be more profitable
- Here is an example of a customer using it GRS have offices around the world and are engaged in prospecting renewables projects. They look at a wide variety of projects and technologies across multiple domains. They use our software to quickly get LIKE FOR LIKE comparisons and make key investment decisions. In One Case they decided which Flight to take next by asking our software which of 3 locations was best.
- Our competitive advantage is that we have Productised and Standardised a complex deep domain knowledge process We are First to Market with it AND we have a Value proposition across the supply chain
- That Supply Chain is large and consists of a number of key groups, from Project developers, utilities, governments and funders.
- These funders are the sweetspot customers. They are actively seeking us out and by selling to them we can make the software a DE FACTO standard
- We have started building a CRM with a TAM of €350m and are driving customers through the acquisition stages. We ALREADY have CUSTOMERS.
- We ALREADY have CUSTOMERS and what we have been learning from them is that they require a degree of support, some customisation and data sets AND that they would consume this as a SaaS product. Converting to a SaaS offering is our next development AND this will allow us to cost effectively sell into the entire supply chain.
- We have been making revenues from Licenses, recurrent support and of course services. With a SaaS product we plan to bundle these elements and more quickly achieve SCALE
