- 1. Exam Pattern: <br />Std.1-7<br />There would be a Summative Assessment after ever unit besides this, there would be two main exams per<br />year The Half Yearly Exam in October (just before the Diwali break) The Final Exam in April.<br />The pattern of the exam is as follows-<br />50 marks- Subjective<br />25 marks- Objective<br />25 marks- Internals<br />__________<br />100 marks- Total<br />(Break up of internals)<br />15 marks- Average of Summative assessments for XSEED subjects and two cycle tests for<br />other subjects<br />10 marks- class observation comprising of homework, regularity, punctuality, etc<br />Std.8-9<br />There would be 2 formative assessments in the first term and 2 in the second term. Each formative assessment would carry 20 marks. Besides this there would be a half yearly exam for 60 marks and an annual exam for 60 marks. <br />Thus, <br />First Term Second Term<br />FA 1 – 20 marks FA 3 – 20 marks<br />FA 2 – 20 marks FA 4 – 20 marks<br />Half Yearly- 60 marks Annual Exam- 60 marks<br />The dates of FA would be given to students as and when required. <br />
