examination.

Important Note for students who commenced Level 1 for the first time in or after September 2012:
LEVEL 1
The number of attempts at any Level 1 unit is limited to a maximum of three attempts (i.e. a first attempt and two resits).
If you are repeating Level 1 and have failed a Level 1 unit at the third attempt with a result of F (Fail) or NC (Not Completed) you have no further opportunity to resit/be re-assessed
for that unit, unless any of the previous attempts at the unit had a result of NA (Not Assessed). Your department will make any recommendation about progression/failure on the
programme as a whole at the Examination Board following the Spring semester examination period. If you have any queries about your situation you are advised to speak to your
home department.
LEVEL 2
The number of attempts at any Level 2 unit is limited to a maximum of two attempts (i.e. a first attempt and one resit).
If you have failed a Level 2 unit at the first attempt with a result of F (Fail) or NC (Not Completed) you will have one further opportunity to resit/be re-assessed for that unit in the
