Genuine Christian Faith, is to believe in everything God has said and done in His written Word: the Bible. It is to believe Jesus Christ died on the Cross of Calvary to save whomever would like to be saved. It is to trust in God all the time. It is to live according to what the Bible says: “The just shall live by faith” Habakkuk 2:4; Hebrews 10:38.
We know the dictionary definition of worship (a feeling, or devotion to a deity), and we have read John 4:24, "God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth"; but, what does the Bible teach us about the subject of worship? This is a series of lessons that gets to the heart of worship and what it really means for Christians.
The second study in our "Growing Deep in the Gospel" series in which we answer the question, "What is the Gospel?" In answering the question we looked at how the word "gospel" was used in Jesus' day and how the Bible describes the gospel. We also looked at what is the heart of the gospel, a outline of the basic gospel message and an outline of the gospel based on the entire Bible.

Make Me A Servant
Make me a servant Lord, make me like you
For you are a servant, make me one, too.
Make me a servant, do what you must do
To make me a servant, make me like you.
To love my brother, to serve like you do.
I humble my spirit, I bow before yo.
And through my service, I'll be just like you.
So make me a servant, make me like you.
Open my hands Lord and teach me to share
Open my heart Lord and teach me to care,
For service to others is service to you.
Make me a servant, make me like you.
Tomorrow we are starting a new series of study:
“The New Man” is a seminar that will focus on the spirit of man, its soul and its body.
We will learn the properties of each one of these three parts of man.
Our spirit is called to be the ruling part of us, actually, our spirit is the main part of our being, and is the place where the spirit of God dwells in.
We meet in Room #3 at CTF Toronto Wednesdays from 7:00 – 9:00 pm. I invite you to come and participate with us in this discovery of how to let our spirit become the ruler of our life.
A lecture on the style and message of the Gospel of John. In this lecture we compare John's style to those of the synoptic to get an Eagle's eye portrayal of Jesus life and message.
Paul reveals to us what the grace of God has done for us as believers. He reveals the power of the Gospel, the message of the cross of Christ and points us to the way in which God works to display His power and wisdom through each of us, so that all of us make our boast in Him alone.
Psalms book 1: David's first book of PsalmsMichael Scaman
A short look at the themes in the book and how Jesus is seen in the book. The New Testament says the law presents in a sense pictures of heavenly realities and there is provision for a King in the law so it should be no surprise if the King of Kings is portrayed using the life of David ( as well as other kings)
Book 1 tends to have psalms that are personal in nature.
Additionally often Book 1 is taken as poetically like Genesis and has themes
concerning man and the blessed man in particular.
We concentrate on the flow, themes and connections themes to theme.

One of the greatest miracles that Christ performed on this earth was the resurrection of Lazarus from the grave, depicted in the gospel of John Chapter 11. By doing so, many of the people’s eyes were opened and they believed that Christ was in fact God. So who was this Lazarus?
This is a study of Jesus being all and in all. He is everything to a believer both in this life and the life to come. There is no substitute for Jesus for when He becomes our Savior He becomes our all. He breaks down all distinctions and makes us one with all other believers.

Homily: The Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity Sunday 2024.docxJames Knipper
Countless volumes have been written trying to explain the mystery of three persons in one true God, leaving us to resort to metaphors such as the three-leaf clover to try to comprehend the Divinity. Many of us grew up with the quintessential pyramidal Trinity structure of God at the top and Son and Spirit in opposite corners. But what if we looked at this ‘mystery’ from a different perspective? What if we shifted our language of God as a being towards the concept of God as love? What if we focused more on the relationship within the Trinity versus the persons of the Trinity? What if stopped looking at God as a noun…and instead considered God as a verb? Check it out…

In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.

3. “Then Jesus came to them and
said, ‘All authority in heaven and
on earth has been given to me’.”
“Therefore go and make disciples
of all nations, baptizing them in
the name of the Father and of the
Son and of the Holy Spirit…”
Matthew 28 : 18 -19
4. INTRODUCTION
To be “baptized” means to be
“totally immersed.” When a
person repents from his sin
and believes Jesus died for
him, before many witnesses,
he (or she) is to be taken to
water, put right under it and
brought up again. Why would
Jesus command that His
believers do such a strange
thing?
5.
6. A. UNDERSTANDING
WATER BAPTISM
Understanding what water
baptism is all about is the key
to a victorious and liberated
Christian life.
The act of going under the
water and rising up from it
again is a picture
demonstrating what has
happened to the Christian
believer.
7. B. THE FOUR
STAGES OF
CHRIST’S WORK
PICTURED
1. He Died … I Died In Him
2. He Was Buried … I Was Buried With
Him
3. He Was Raised … I Have A New
Life In Him
4. He Ascended … I Ascended In Him
8. 1. He Died … I
Died In Him
“For we know that our old self
was crucified with him so that
the body ruled by sin might be
done away with, that we should
no longer be slaves to sin —
because anyone who has died
has been set free from sin.”
Romans 6:6-7
9. 2. He Was Buried … I
Was Buried With Him
“Or don’t you know that all of us
who were baptized into Christ
Jesus were baptized into his
death? We were therefore buried
with him through baptism into
death in order that, just as Christ
was raised from the dead through
the glory of the Father, we too may
live a new life.”
Romans 6:3-4
10. 3. He Died … I Have
A New Life In Him
“…in order that, just as Christ was
raised from the dead through the
glory of the Father, we too may
live a new life. For if we have
been united with Him in a death
like His, we will certainly also be
united with him in a resurrection
like His”.
Romans 6:4-5
11. 4. He Ascended … I
Ascended In Him
“And God raised us up
with Christ and seated us
with him in the heavenly
realms in Christ Jesus.”
See also Colossians 3:1
Ephesians 2:6
12. C. WATER
BAPTISM IS …
1. Your Funeral Service!
2. Your Resurrection To
New Life!
13. 1. Water Baptism Is
Your Funeral Service!
A burial is not to kill a man
off. It is only performed
when the man is dead
already. And so, because
you have “died” in Christ,
you bury your old life in
water baptism.
14. 2. Water Baptism Is Your
Resurrection To New Life!
You rise out of the
water demonstrating
and declaring you are
a new creation in
Christ!
15. 2. Water Baptism Is Your
Resurrection To New Life!
“Now if we died with Christ, we
believe that we will also live with
him. For we know that since
Christ was raised from the dead,
he cannot die again; death no
longer has mastery over him.
Romans 6:8-9
16. 2. Water Baptism Is Your
Resurrection To New Life!
The death he died, he
died to sin once for all; but
the life he lives, he lives to
God. In the same way, count
yourselves dead to sin but
alive to God in Christ Jesus.
Romans 6:10-11
17. D. THE TWO KINGDOMS
“For he has rescued us
from the dominion of
darkness and brought
us into the kingdom of
the Son He loves.”
Colossians 1:13
18. D. THE TWO KINGDOMS
Every man and woman born
into the world is born into the
Kingdom of Darkness; born
slaves of the dictator Satan.
There is no way out of this
kingdom except by DEATH, and
there is no way in to the Kingdom
of God except by BIRTH.
19. D. THE TWO KINGDOMS
And so Jesus
became both our
death and new birth
— and this we declare
in water baptism!
20. E. THE TWO RACES
As there are two
kingdoms, so within each
kingdom is a different race
of people. The Adamic Race
populates the Kingdom of
Darkness, and the New
Creation populates the
Kingdom of GOD
21. 1. The First Adam
“For as in
Adam all
die…”
See also Romans 5:12
1 Corinthians 15:22
22. 1. THE FIRST ADAM
Adam was the father of us
all, the entire human race.
Adam’s sin alienated us all from
God. Because of his sin, we all
inherited his rebellious and
diseased nature and became
subject to death. Adam’s offspring
are called “The Adamic Race”.
23. 2. THE LAST ADAM
“You see, at just the
right time, when we
were still powerless,
Christ died for the
ungodly.”
Romans 5:6
24. 2. THE LAST ADAM
There was no way God
could change the fallen Adamic
Race. He had to put an end to
that race and begin a whole new
race of humanity. Jesus was the
Last Adam. He came as the
lastborn of the Adamic Race and
the firstborn of a new race.
25. 2. THE LAST ADAM
As He hung upon the Cross,
He hung there as the last Adam —
the lastborn of the Adamic Race.
When He died on the cross, the
Adamic Race and the Adamic sinful
nature died.
God put to death the fallen
creation in Him. The Adamic Race
died in Christ
26. 3. THE SECOND MAN
“…so in Christ
all will be
made alive.”
1 Corinthians 15:22
27. 3. THE SECOND MAN
Jesus came as God’s new
Man, through which a new
race would be created. Jesus
was raised from the dead —
not as the Last Adam — but as
the Second Man, the Head of
the New Creation.
28. 3. THE SECOND MAN
“So it is written: “The first man
Adam became a living
beingthe last Adam, a life-
giving spirit. The spiritual did
not come first, but the natural,
and after that the spiritual.”
1 Corinthians 15:45-46
29. 3. THE SECOND MAN
“The first man was of the dust
of the earth; the second man is
of heaven. As was the earthly
man, so are those who are of
the earth; and as is the
heavenly man, so also are
those who are of heaven.”
1 Corinthians 15:47-48
30. 3. THE SECOND MAN
“And just as we have
borne the image of the
earthly man, so shall
we bear the image of
the heavenly man.”
1 Corinthians 15:49
31. 4. THE NEW CREATION
“Therefore, if anyone is
in Christ, the new
creation has come:[a]
The old has gone, the
new has come!”
See also Eph. 2:10
- 2 Corinthians 5:17
32. 4. THE NEW CREATION
In water baptism we declare to
all our friends and
acquaintances that we are no
longer part of Adam’s race and
the Kingdom of Darkness. We
are a New Creation in Christ,
belonging to the Kingdom of
God!
