The student used a variety of software programs, online tools, and hardware to complete their advanced portfolio project. They created slides with Microsoft PowerPoint, planned with Microsoft Word, edited images with Adobe Photoshop and Collage.com, edited videos with Adobe Premier and VideoPad Editor, researched with Wikipedia and Google, made a band website with Wix, shared content on Facebook, uploaded music to SoundCloud, posted videos to Vimeo, blogged on Blogger, and took photos with Nikon and Canon cameras to create a music video for the portfolio. The project helped develop their creative and computing skills.

 This project really helped me in developing my
creative and computing skills. I used a bunch of
programs to produce my project for the Advanced
Portfolio, including, Microsoft PowerPoint 2010,
Microsoft Word 2010, Adobe Photoshop CS3, Adobe
Premier, NCH VideoPad Editor, Collage.com,
Blogger.com, Wix.com, Facebook.com, Vimeo.com,
Gmail.com, Google.com, Slideshare.net,

 I used Microsoft Word 2010 for the planning of my
product, Microsoft PowerPoint 2010 for creating the
slides, Adobe Photoshop CS3, Collage.com and Picasa for
editing the images used in all of my researches, Adobe
Premier and NCH VideoPad Editor for the music video
editing, Wikipedia.org and Google.com for gathering
information on the product, Wix.com for creating band’s
official website, Facebook.com for sharing the website
and for the band’s official page, Soundcloud.com for
upload the band’s discography, Vimeo.com for uploading
the final music video and at last, Blogger.com to upload
my entire portfolio.

 Moreover, I used Nikon D90 and Canon EOS 70D for
the production of my music video. It has been a great
experience for me. I managed to learn so many
creative things and this creativity is also helping me
in my real life. Now I have the knowledge about
several programs and gadgets. I personally feel that I
can save a lot of money and work on my own,
instead of visiting studios and wasting money.
