REPRESENT PARTICULAR SOCIAL
GROUPS?

SCRIPT
Our media product uses script to represent the target
audience of working class teenagers. Their accent
also show that they are from South London and the
script includes simple lexis as our audience isn’t
middle class people it is working class people and
we don’t expect all working class to be educated to
understand sophisticated words also the
sophisticated language will not be suitable for the
genre of horror.
MISE-EN-SCENE
Our media product uses mise-en-scene to represent
the target audience of working class teenagers.
Both teenage girls were wearing casual clothes
such as jeans leather jacket and leather boots. The
aim by this was to show that both actors were
meant to represent a high working class girls from
South London, they are not wearing very casual
clothes such as tracksuit bottoms or trainers to
make it seem very low working class.
