 Teen film is a film genre targeted at
teenagers and young adults in which
the plot is based upon the special interests
of teenagers, such as coming of age, first
love, rebellion, conflict with parents, teen
angst, and alienation.
 However, some teen films have adult themes
such as pregnancy and drugs which isn’t
uncommon to teenagers but allows teen films
to be targeted at adults too.
 For our teen film we wanted to make a film
that was aimed at who we were, young adult
females living in East London where it’s gritty
and urban and full of diversity. Our film deals
with the issues of drugs, older siblings and
angst among peers and we felt these themes
were common with teenagers our age.
- 17 years old.
- Female.
- Likes British, urban films such as Fish Tank and
Kidulthood.
- Hobbies include partying and staying out all night.
- Has an older sister of 4 years.
- Likes hip-hop, grime and rap music.
