2. Q4 How did you integrate technology
hardware, software and online in this
project?

3. In terms of Hardware and Software, digital
technologies enabled us to create our media
products. It helped me create my media product
which is my film opening. We would have never
been able to complete our As level coursework, as
these technologies helped us in every step, from
research, pre-production, production and post
production and even in this critical reflection.
Through out this process we had our phones in our
hands and laptops on our desks, constantly
researching information for the film opening. All
the behind the scenes were taken from iphone 7. If
not for these hardware this project would have not
been possible.

5. Two camera were used in order to save time and shoot
simultaneously through different angles. We learnt a
lot of new features and techniques of how to use the
camera such as the white balance, ideal timings for
outdoor shoot, lighting, different shots, angles and
movements, along with shallow and deep focus.
Cinematographers from Pakistan and Russia came and
gave us classes which helped us a lot in figuring the
hardware out. As we had never used the camera so
professionally. The camera exercise helped to get hand
of the camera and was very helpful before making the
actual film opening. The tripod also helped us take still
shots but most of the time we took the shots hand held
as it added to the aesthetic. We did not use panning
shots. Both Fatima and I were cinematographers which
helped us collect a lot of backup, which helped a lot in
editing, the more the footage the better.

6. In order to proceed further all the footage was to be
processed which was done in adobe premiere, most
crucial component in bringing all my footage
together and turning it into a two minutes film
opening.

7. A lot of online sites were used to make
presentations and to upload them, like Scribd,
SlideShare, Prezi, Powtoon, and Emaze.
Social Websites helped us Lastly, our personal
social media handles such as Facebook, YouTube
and Gmail were very handy as we used them for
storage purposes as well as getting feedback and
calls for audition.

8. Lastly Weebly was there throughout the journey of creating this project.
Our blogging platform that was Weebly, was another integrated
technology which helped us produce our project. Weebly allowed us to
keep our work up to date and to regularly post about our entire journey
It contained different features and elements which made our blogs look
engaging such as the ability to post videos, images, website links, embed
video and tags etc. Moreover, Weebly was very user-friendly, so we did
not face much of a difficulty using Weebly. I accidently deleted my whole
site and with a few emails to the weebly community my whole site was
retrieved just the way it was before. In conclusion, the use of digital
technologies greatly enabled us to produce our media products that are
distinctive and are highlighting our interest, motivation as well as
objective.
