Over the past five months I have been working towards completing a brief given to me by the
campaign Copyright Heroes. I have been working in a team to try and meet the required
needs of the brief. My three media products twitter social media account, my website and my
posters are all clearly linked to the brief in a variety of different ways. One of these ways is
that the slogan is clearly published on all posters, the web page and the twitter account. Our
same logo and contact information are also all featured in all products.
In my opinion I believe that the three posters that I designed are clearly linked together as
they all contain the same slogan, logo and layout however the images change on each
poster to show different girls from the target audience to make it more appealing. Some of
the personals appear in more than one poster; this makes the campaign more recognisable
because of their repeated appearance.
The other members of my team also made posters that also feature the same colours, layout
and similar pictures. The target audience is the same for each of our products; Teenage
Girls aged 15-17. By having the same target audience this helps us link our products clearly
and it is highly important to link our products clearly. I believe that all of our products are
linked clearly because we have followed the same colour scheme throughout and we have
used the same language which is aimed at the younger audiences. In addition, on our
posters we have also included similar background images and in the majority of our posters
there are girls who have featured on more than one of our posters. I believe that our
products connect well towards the brief assigned by Copyright Heroes, we have displayed a
clear message towards the target audience, and we have taught them that they are not safe
when illegally downloading entertainment and we have also informed them on the possible
effects of copyright infringement. I think that a good way that we displayed these matters
was through both our social media account and our website.
We created a social media account as many of the people
who are within our target audience own an account. We have
made sure to keep the account frequently updated and we
have made the account appealing to the target audience. I
believe that by having this account we have made the
campaign more approachable for the target audience.
Our logo is fit to the target audience by the use of the colour
pink. It is a very feminine colour and it gives the idea that the
campaign is for females. We have also used the names of
well-known music artists to attract the audience more for
example:
This was one of our very first tweets, by the use of the mention of the artist’s one direction
and one republic we gain a mass of followers from the target audience we are ‘Fans’ of the
groups. Our social media account has had a big impact within the campaign and it has
made it more reachable and recognisable.
In addition our website has had a huge impact with the campaign. We have been able to
display all of the areas our campaign covers, clearly and affectively. We have followed out
the same colour schemes that our posters and twitter account t follow so that people whom
are searching for our campaign can easily recognise them as of the layouts. We have made
the website appealing and intellectual for the target audience. I believe that by looking at our
website alone we have informed the audience fully on the known issues of copyright and we
have also included everything the brief wanted us to.
Furthermore, I believe that we have made a clear link to the brief through our products and
we have chosen a fairly wide target audience to aware. We decided as a group that our
target audience would be teenage girls aged 13-17 because we believe that by us being
from this age range we can target them more as we know what appeals to them. Our posters
can relate well to our target audience as we have included pictures of girls from the target
audience, we have very feminine colours and we also have all of our commonly used social
network links at the bottom of each poster. Our social media account links well with our
target audience as the majority of the audience use twitter and we feel like it’s the best way
to reach them. Our website also connects well to our target audience as we have included
feminine colours. In addition all of our products link together as they follow the same colour
scheme, similar layout, the same logo and the same style of font. Overall I believe we have
made a clear link between our products and a clear link to the brief through our products.
In conclusion, I think that to improve we should have managed our time more, made our
website more appealing and made the social media account more approachable. We also
could have spent more time developing our products and less time on other areas of the
assignment. But I believe that a big impact that could be improved on in this assignment
would be our time because we spent too long on ideas for the products instead of actually
creating them. Therefore next time we will set deadlines for ourselves to reach in order to put
equal effort to each area of the assignment, we will also make sure that every member of the
group has an equal amount of work load so we can fully give the products our full attention
and effort.

  • 1. Over the past five months I have been working towards completing a brief given to me by the campaign Copyright Heroes. I have been working in a team to try and meet the required needs of the brief. My three media products twitter social media account, my website and my posters are all clearly linked to the brief in a variety of different ways. One of these ways is that the slogan is clearly published on all posters, the web page and the twitter account. Our same logo and contact information are also all featured in all products. In my opinion I believe that the three posters that I designed are clearly linked together as they all contain the same slogan, logo and layout however the images change on each poster to show different girls from the target audience to make it more appealing. Some of the personals appear in more than one poster; this makes the campaign more recognisable because of their repeated appearance. The other members of my team also made posters that also feature the same colours, layout and similar pictures. The target audience is the same for each of our products; Teenage Girls aged 15-17. By having the same target audience this helps us link our products clearly and it is highly important to link our products clearly. I believe that all of our products are linked clearly because we have followed the same colour scheme throughout and we have used the same language which is aimed at the younger audiences. In addition, on our posters we have also included similar background images and in the majority of our posters
  • 2. there are girls who have featured on more than one of our posters. I believe that our products connect well towards the brief assigned by Copyright Heroes, we have displayed a clear message towards the target audience, and we have taught them that they are not safe when illegally downloading entertainment and we have also informed them on the possible effects of copyright infringement. I think that a good way that we displayed these matters was through both our social media account and our website. We created a social media account as many of the people who are within our target audience own an account. We have made sure to keep the account frequently updated and we have made the account appealing to the target audience. I believe that by having this account we have made the campaign more approachable for the target audience. Our logo is fit to the target audience by the use of the colour pink. It is a very feminine colour and it gives the idea that the campaign is for females. We have also used the names of well-known music artists to attract the audience more for example: This was one of our very first tweets, by the use of the mention of the artist’s one direction and one republic we gain a mass of followers from the target audience we are ‘Fans’ of the groups. Our social media account has had a big impact within the campaign and it has made it more reachable and recognisable. In addition our website has had a huge impact with the campaign. We have been able to display all of the areas our campaign covers, clearly and affectively. We have followed out the same colour schemes that our posters and twitter account t follow so that people whom are searching for our campaign can easily recognise them as of the layouts. We have made
  • 3. the website appealing and intellectual for the target audience. I believe that by looking at our website alone we have informed the audience fully on the known issues of copyright and we have also included everything the brief wanted us to. Furthermore, I believe that we have made a clear link to the brief through our products and we have chosen a fairly wide target audience to aware. We decided as a group that our target audience would be teenage girls aged 13-17 because we believe that by us being from this age range we can target them more as we know what appeals to them. Our posters can relate well to our target audience as we have included pictures of girls from the target audience, we have very feminine colours and we also have all of our commonly used social network links at the bottom of each poster. Our social media account links well with our target audience as the majority of the audience use twitter and we feel like it’s the best way to reach them. Our website also connects well to our target audience as we have included feminine colours. In addition all of our products link together as they follow the same colour scheme, similar layout, the same logo and the same style of font. Overall I believe we have made a clear link between our products and a clear link to the brief through our products. In conclusion, I think that to improve we should have managed our time more, made our website more appealing and made the social media account more approachable. We also could have spent more time developing our products and less time on other areas of the assignment. But I believe that a big impact that could be improved on in this assignment would be our time because we spent too long on ideas for the products instead of actually creating them. Therefore next time we will set deadlines for ourselves to reach in order to put equal effort to each area of the assignment, we will also make sure that every member of the group has an equal amount of work load so we can fully give the products our full attention and effort.
