merger between Fox Film Corporation and 20th
Century Pictures , Inc.
 It was founded on May 31st 1935 by William
Fox, Joseph M. Schenck and Darryl F. Zanuck.


5. REFERENCE FILMS
I have drawn inspiration from a number of
films belonging to this institution.
 The Transporter- I liked the idea of having a
chase scene in my film. I also liked the idea
of having a serious , formal dress code for
all characters.
 From various movies like Behind Enemy
Lines, Knight and Day and The Transporter, I
drew the concept of having the odds
stacked against the protagonist, being
outnumbered by the antagonists.


20th Century Fox has many achievements to it’s
name.
 It’s main achievement is the movie that currently
sits on top of the list of the highest grossing films
ever, Avatar.
 In June 2008, they swept the board at the HEW
Awards by winning ‘Retail Distributor of the Year’,
‘Rental Distributor of the Year’ and ‘Overall
Distributor of the Year’. Home Entertainment also
won a Marketing Award for ‘Best Film Marketing
(Blockbuster)’ for The Simpsons Movie.


8. WHY 20TH CENTURY FOX SHOULD
DISTRIBUTE MY FILM

I think my film would be a good fit with 20th
Century Fox because they make films of a
similar genre as compared to my film, which is
action/adventure/spy and hence my movie
could get the recognition it rightfully deserves.
