wanted to take the easy way out and find that brand of dressing that has the taste of homemade.
In my quest to find the perfect store bought gravy, I first started to use the packet brand of gravy

regarded as one of the most paradoxical concept in history. The story and paradoxes written by

These two situations strongly relate to each other, how people of all sorts of background come
to California in hopes of making a better life, but also many failed dreams once they see how
hard it is. Even though the two accounts and stories aren t on the same timeframe, they still
strongly support each other in different contexts. The paradox of the California Dream is very
evident in both stories, how getting rich through the gold rush was actually very hard due to the
physical work, or how the growth of population and economy of California seemed positive, was
also deemed negative. With these facts and examples through research and real accounts, the
Californian Dream could easily be regarded as an extremely paradoxical concept.

Descriptive Concert
Up until this moment, I had never been to a concert from my favorite band. This concert would
be one of the best moments of my life. The concert took place at the Oregon state fairgrounds in
Salem, Oregon. It was during the time when the annual state fair was taking place. The sky was
filled with clouds that only allowed the sun to peek through on occasion. Sweat drips down our
faces just by standing outside in the humid air. Walking into the fairgrounds dirt, and musty smells
surrounded the senses. Looking to the left and right, crowds of people were surrounding barn
animals to be able to pet and feed them.The strong scent of manure settled in our noses and pushed
us to walk farther into the fair at a quickened pace. We walked through an area that resembled a
saturday market. Booths were set up and the people inside them smiled brightly at us with clearly
hidden intentions behind their smiles. Sounds of people chattering amongst themselves floated
through the air making it hard to hear the person standing next to you. As we rushed through the

helped me to advance my thinking about this phenomena. For instance, Piaget s work involving
the formal operational stage, according to Bass (2012) has allowed for the assumption that
