Essay On Astronomy
Crafting an essay on this subject presents a multifaceted challenge. Astronomy, a field that
delves into the vastness of the cosmos, encompasses a breadth of topics ranging from celestial
bodies and their movements to the evolution of the universe itself. To encapsulate its essence
within the confines of an essay demands a comprehensive understanding of astronomical
principles coupled with adept writing skills.
Firstly, delving into the depths of astronomy requires extensive research to grasp the intricacies
of astronomical phenomena. From the dynamics of stars and galaxies to the complexities of
black holes and dark matter, the breadth of information is staggering. Navigating through this
wealth of knowledge necessitates sifting through numerous academic journals, textbooks, and
reputable online sources to gather pertinent data and insights.
Furthermore, translating this knowledge into a coherent essay demands clarity of thought and
effective communication skills. Conveying complex astronomical concepts in a manner
accessible to readers with varying levels of familiarity with the subject poses a considerable
challenge. Striking a balance between elucidating intricate theories and maintaining reader
engagement requires finesse in structuring the essay and employing illustrative examples or
analogies.
Moreover, crafting a compelling narrative entails weaving together disparate threads of
astronomical discourse into a cohesive storyline. Whether elucidating the historical significance
of astronomical discoveries or exploring cutting-edge research in the field, the essay must offer a
compelling narrative arc that captivates the reader's imagination while remaining rooted in
scientific rigor.
In conclusion, composing an essay on astronomy necessitates navigating a labyrinth of scientific
knowledge while adeptly communicating its complexities to a diverse audience. It demands
meticulous research, adept writing skills, and the ability to distill intricate concepts into a
compelling narrative. Yet, despite its challenges, delving into the wonders of the cosmos offers
an intellectually enriching journey that inspires awe and curiosity.

Analysis Of Crooked Smile
In the past five years, social and political injustices against people of color have
been a reoccurring story in the news. Presently, it is common to find out that
another defenseless black teen has been killed or a black woman is getting a twenty
year sentence for being found in possession of marijuana. In fact, we, as a society,
have been desensitized to such news. It, unfortunately, doesn t faze us, everyday
people, anymore, but it should. Especially for innocent, little girls killed in drugraids
like Aiyana Stanley Jones. In 2013, the famous rapper, J. Cole, released a heart
clenching video in dedication of Stanley Jones for his song Crooked Smile. The
song Crooked Smile promotes female empowerment through encouraging women to
accept themselves, moreover J. Cole tells his fans that he is an everyday person
just like them which is seen from him keeping his own crooked smile. The music
video of Crooked Smile narrates a story about a drug raid that leads up to an
innocent, little girls death. The music video features the story behind the little girl s
death through moving images in this mini film. The song and music video are
seemingly different from each other, initially, however they both share a common
message of No one s perfect. The music video, Crooked Smile , aims to persuade its
audience to act against such social injustices like America s war on drugs. J. Cole
organized the Crooked Smile music video to, specifically, focus on the similarities of

Feminine Traits Alone Aren t Enough Make A Feminist
Role...
Feminine traits alone aren t enough make you a feminist role model either. This
idea is made clear by author Stephenie Meyer, the author of the Twilight Saga.
Throughout the books, Bella Swan is a 17 year old girl who is moving in with her
father, out of town. She soon meets the Cullen family, realizes they are vampires,
and eventually becomes devoted to one of the males, Edward. During the course
of the series, Bella is overly emotional about a variety of things, most of the time
she is considered to be overreacting. It is clear that Bella needs help with almost
everything she does, she even comes off as the damsel in distress in most of the
series. While these characteristics are considered feminine, it still doesn t make Bella
a true... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Bella responds with Mostly I dream about being with you forever (Meyers, Twilight
498). She says this to try to tell Edward that she is willing to risk anything, even her
own life to be with him. Bella won t listen to Edward despite him trying to convince
her she is overreacting.
Ever since the beginning of Bella and Edward s relationship the two are almost
inseparable, which is why when he decides to end their relationship and leave in
the second book, Bella becomes insane. She stares outside for hours on end, and
refuses to go anywhere or hang out with her friends. Bella s dad confronts her about
her behavior saying, you re just... lifeless Bella (Meyers, New Moon 95). Clearly, she
is overreacting, however she is truly fitting the role of a basic clingy girlfriend .
While emotion is considered a female trait, a lot of people believe that all females
overreact to everything, which is exactly what Bella is doing by the way she reacts
when Edward breaks up with her. Bella is not good feminist role model because of
her overreactions.
In addition to her overreactions, Bella is also excessively vulnerable. It seems as
though Bella can t do anything without needing help from someone. For example,
in the first book, she can t seem to move herself out of the way of an oncoming car,
in fact, Edward who is quite a distance away has to rush over to save her. Bella is
standing next to her truck when she notices a car coming at her, I was able to absorb

Hernia Impact On The Community Essay
Hernia has impact on the community because it affects the productive age group.13
The mean age of patients in our study was 38 years (range 19 68 years), this is
consistent to what was reported in previous literatures.14, 15 In our study, 51.1%

advances in researches and developments in the biomedical materials industry have
led to the invention of relatively inert and biocompatible surgical meshes.7 Meshes
are made of non absorbable polymers had been used most frequently in clinical
practice and the main non absorbable polymers are polypropylene, polyester, and
expanded polytetrafluoroethylene.17 For a century, surgical treatment of hernia was

In general, it is reported in literature to be around 2%.4 In present study, only one
patient (0.7%) developed wound infection postoperatively that was superficial,
treated by simple debridement, antibiotic coverage and daily dressing. Low
infectious rate achieved in this study may be due to preoperative antibiotic
prophylaxis and proper painting of the operating site by iodine. Recurrence is
another and most critical complication after hernia repair. Techniques and patients
factors play important role.15 According to some reports, positive family history for
hernia is a predictor for recurrence.15 Literatures have reported less recurrence rate
with meshes than with traditional suture repair.14, 15 Different rates of recurrence
after mesh hernia repair are reported in ranging from 0% to 5%.4 In our study, the
recurrence rate was 2.2% which is comparable with international
Planting A Sequoia Commentary Essay example
Planting A Sequoia, written by Dana Gioia, included in her larger work, The Gods
of Winter published in 1991. The work is written in first person point of view
because the narrator. This poem s central assertion is remembrance and honoring
of the dead with the family and rebirth. The poem is about the a father that plants a
sequoia tree in honor of his recently deceased infant son. Gioia uses imagery in the
first few stanzas to emphasize the severity of the father and his families grief and
despair. In these sections he also reveals the setting of the poem which is Sicily and
the reason he chose a sequoia tree. The very first stanza of the Gioia s poem sets the
tone for the poem, which was melancholy, with the imagery the author uses.... Show

This is significant because it emphasizes the melancholy and mournfulness that he
depicts with imagery in the first stanza. Later on in the second stanza, he author
describes the tree the narrator would have planted as a green sapling rising among
the twisted apple boughs . The author uses visual color imagery of the color green
to describe the sapling in order to emphasize just how young the newborn was
when he died. Later on in the poem, the narrator speaks of himself and his brothers
kneeling in front of the newly plated tree. The fact that they are kneeling represents
respect for the deceased. When the narrator mentions that the weather is cold it is
a reference back to the first stanza when he says of an old year coming to an end .
Later on in the third stanza the author writes all that remains above earth of a first
born son which means that the deceased child has been buried. They also compare
the child to the size of a few stray atoms to emphasize that he was an infant. All of
these symbols and comparisons to are significant because they are tied to the central
assertion of remembrance and honoring of the dead with the family and rebirth.
Furthermore, the last two stanzas are more personal in the sense of how the narrator
speaks. The word we is used many times in these last two stanzas, more than the first
three. In all five of the stanzas, the word we was used as the authors way of
Their Eyes Were Watching God Pear Tree
Their Eyes Were Watching God In the novel Their Eyes Were Watching God by
Zora Neale Hurston, I want to inform reader s that Janie s home is the pear tree. In
the story when Janie was under the blossoming pear she explains how the pear tree
was blooming. Janie sees a bee pollinating a pear blossom and that made her come to
a realization of loveand marriage. Janie s home; the pear tree represents Janie s way
of maturing into a woman. Whenever Janie was under the pear tree she feels like
she could be herself, there s no Nanny telling her to do the dishes or anybody
interrupting her. The story s true meaning is that Janie found love and her love
just went away, she found Tea Cake and he died. The three synonyms for this novel
is true love, quest, and equality. Janie s home relates to the pear tree because in the
novel, Hurston states Janie has spent most of the day under a blossoming pear tree
in the back yard. Janie spends most of her time under the pear tree because that s
where she feels more comfortable. When Janie was under the pear tree the
atmosphere of the pear tree made Janie feel relaxed, and welcome. Hurston also
states That was to say, ever since the first tiny bloom had opened. That was Janie s

Hurston states, He could be a bee to a blossom a pear tree blossom in the spring.
Janie also explains how Tea Cake could be the man that she desires that Tea Cake
can be the man that she gets married too. Even though Janie found Tea Cake her
love didn t last for that long. Hurston states, Tea Cake, the son of Evening Sun, had
to die for loving her. She looked hard at the sky for a long time. Although, Janie
loved Tea Cake she had to kill him she looked at the school wondering why God did
this to her and Tea Cake but all good things have to come
The Passive and Pitiful Ethan Frome Essay
The Passive and Pitiful Ethan Frome
Ethan Frome is a man torn between what he wants to do, and what he should do. Life
in a rural town can be tough, but when faced with complications, it can be almost
unbearable. When Ethan decides to marry his distant cousin, Zeena, his life turns
down a long and lonesome road. Ethan s lack of assertiveness and decisive action only
worsens his already lonesome and stressful life.
Though too intelligent for rural life, Ethan finds himself stuck in an average man s
shoes. Leaving any opportunity he had to become someone in life, Ethan moves back
to Starkfield to take care of his ailing mother and attend to their farm(Wharton 29).

Mattie Silver s arrival at the Frome household is everything Ethan needs. His lack
of assertiveness has led to his deep hatred of his wife and his life. He soon falls in
love with young Mattie and when Zeena decides it s time for her to go, Ethan
hesitates to stand up for himself and Mattie. When he is forced to take her away, he
tells Mattie about a story similar to theirs(Wharton, 56); he offers the chance for
them to run away together, but Mattie declines. If Ethan had only made the decision
for them, or stood up to Zeena, his life would be much better off.
When Mattie is finally forced to go, Ethan faces the hardest decision he s ever had
to make. Both Mattie and he are in love with each other and neither of the two know
what to do now that they will be separated forever. Ethan decides to take Mattie to
the train station instead of letting Jotham Powell, which turns out to be one of Ethan
s many bad choices. On their way to the train stop, Ethan takes Mattie sledding for
the first time since she arrived in Starkfield(Wharton, 69). The fun they had together
while sledding only reminded them of what they would be missing when Mattie
finally had to leave. Faced with no where else to go, Mattie suggests to Ethan that
they ride the sled straight in to the big elm so that they ll never have to be apart
again(Wharton, 71). Though Mattie was dreadfully serious about the suggestion,
The Diagnosis And Treatment Of Breast Cancer
3D Mammography The diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer and other non
cancerous diseases are very important in improving the quality of life for many
women. The early diagnosis of the non cancerous disease can reduce the incidence of
breast cancer through effective treatment of mastopathy (fibrocystic of the breasts
tissue). In the area of study, a variety of imaging modalities is implemented to assist
with the diagnosis. These imaging modalities includes multi frequency electrical
impedance mammography, ultrasonic investigation, X ray mammography and
puncture biopsy. Various radiographic modalities are used in clinical settings to
identify lesions that are suspicious for breast cancer, mammography is still the
modality of choice for breast cancerscreening. Breast sonogram is limited mainly to
the diagnostic follow up to clarify features of a potential abnormal lesion detected by
the mammographic study. Patients undergoing mammography when any
abnormalities detected patient often have the sonographic examination of the breast
to confirm the underlying conditions. Sonomammography is used to assess breast
tissue such as cystic versus solid structures seen on the mammogram (Bontrager
Lampignano, 2014). Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) use is evolving in the field
of breast cancer screening, currently, it is used in combination with mammography
for high risk patients (Siddique, 2014). 3D mammography (or tomosynthesis), is a
new screening and diagnostic breast imaging
Consumer Behaviours, Jnd, Perceptions
Case 4.1: Packaging and the J.N.D. 1. Concept of Perception, Sensation, Weber s Law
(J.N.D. or Differential Threshold) Perception is the process of attaining awareness or
understanding of the environment. This is through organizing and interpreting
sensory information to form a meaningful and clear picture of the world. Based on
different needs, values and expectations, different people will perceive and interpret
stimulus differently. For sensation, it is when the various sense organs of the body
receive a physical or mental response from a stimulus that will eventually be sent to
the brain. In addition, the receptivity of our senses and the intensity of the stimuli to
which it is exposed, will affect its sensitivity. According to... Show more content on

Changed perception = Changed buying behavior Perceptions are formed over time,
and they are usually hard to break. Coca Cola might have wanted to alter their
target consumer perception by slowly removing the word Classic that will
eventually result in a change in buying behavior. Using the J.N.D. concept, Coca
Cola could make improvements in their product and to market it in a different
light, which would lead to an increase in sales. 2.2 In the first major change since
the 1940s, Heinz replaced the pickle (preserved) that had appeared on its Ketchup
product (right under the words tomato ketchup ) with a tomato (fresh), above a new
slogan, Grown not Made. 2.2.1 Reasons for the focus on freshness The major
change in the label of Heinz tomato started with ketchup consumers having the
perception that its ketchup is full of artificial or potentially artificial flavours. This
gives rise to a need in redesigning the label by replacing the pickle with a tomato on
a vine. At the same time, the word tomato was enlarged within the tomato ketchup
designation, and Heinz also came up with a new slogan, Grown not Made . (Refer to
Annex C) The two sensory receptors used are the eyes and the mouth. Where sight is
the most important sensory input, Heinz uses the various positive stimuli to
strategically make changes to evoke positive emotions among consumers. The
perception of the taste of the consumer will be seen as sweeter and fresher without
the inclusion of the
Getting Into The Real Estate
If you re thinking about getting into the real estate business then there s a lot you
need to take into consideration before you make the jump. I ve been a licensed,
active agent for over two years now and I admit that in the beginning I had no clue
about the costs, work, or time involved in getting started. All I knew was I wanted to
do it so I dove in head first without doing the research. Don t make that mistake.
While real estatecan be a very rewarding practice, it s not necessarily for everyone.
It takes a person with a special type of motivation and sales skills to make a living
with the job and most agents can t handle the aspect of complete freedom without
abusing their time. If you re curious about what it takes to get started, then this
article will clear things up. First of all, it s important for you to know exactly what
a real estate agent does. An agent assists clients in buying or selling houses. A real
estate agent must have a great knowledge of the local market and is able to tell
someone how much their house is worth. Agents also must have a general
knowledge of the communities in the area, as well as any restrictions or covenants
for that same area. In a way, real estate agents serve as the backbone to the entire
deal. We assist buyers in finding a good mortgage broker, home inspector, termite
inspector, closing attorney, and many other aspects. On the flip side, real estate
agents that represent sellers are required to help conduct a comparative
History of British Literature
Late Medieval Period 14th Century British Literature
14th and 15th were period of transition from feudalism to pre industrial era. A time of
political, social and ideological conflicts;
England was in war with France (the hundred year war 1337 1453 Edward s claim to
the French throne and attempt to bring England, Gascony and Flanders under unified
political control). The defeats in France lead to deepening the internal crisis. The
decline in agriculture together with the rise in the population resulted in frequent
famines and helped the spread during the 14th c. of the Black Death . 1381 The
Peasants Revolt.

Sir Gawain and the Green Knight, by the same anonymous author, is also of high
literary sophistication, and its intelligence, vividness, and symbolic interest render it
possibly the finest Arthurian poem in English. Other important alliterative poems are
the moral allegory Piers Plowman, attributed to William Langland, and the alliterative
Morte Arthur, which, like nearly all English poetry until the mid 14th cent., was
anonymous.
The works of Geoffrey Chaucer mark the brilliant culmination of Middle English
literature. Chaucer s The Canterbury Tales are stories told each other by
pilgrimsВ–who comprise a very colorful cross section of 14th century English
societyВ–on their way to the shrine at Canterbury. The tales are cast into many
different verse forms and genres and collectively explore virtually every significant
medieval theme. Chaucer s wise and humane work also illuminates the full scope of
medieval thought. Overshadowed by Chaucer but of some note are the works of John
Gower.
The Fifteenth Century:
The 15th cent. is not distinguished in English letters, due in part to the social
dislocation caused by the prolonged Wars of the Roses. Of the many 15th century
imitators of Chaucer the best known are John Lydgate and Thomas Hoccleve. Other
poets of the time include Stephen Hawes and Alexander Barclay and the Scots poets
William Dunbar, Robert Henryson, and Gawin Douglas. The poetry of John Skelton,
which is mostly satiric, combines medieval and
My Choice For Choosing A Career
I wish to embark on a lifelong career as an academician and a researcher, seeking to
expand the boundaries of knowledge and learning in the field of pharmacy. My
choice for selecting a career in pharmacy is truly based on my natural flair towards
science.
As the wonders of sciences in high school inspired me, I decided a career in the
area of Medical Pharmaceutical Sciences. The desire to study medical sciences
prompted me to consider the study of pharmaceutical sciences as I was always adept
at the conceptual understanding of science and the scope of what science has to offer
to the world simply enticed me. I joined the Gandhi College of Pharmacy, Karnal
under Haryana State Board of Technical Education, which offered a dynamic
Diploma in Pharmacy with the best faculty and facilities. The day I attended my
first class in diploma I decided to build a career in Medical Research. I would now
get a chance to contribute to the society and I passed my diploma program with
78.7% marks, emerging as a topper of the college.
Driven by my interest in Pharmacy and the confidence of an excellent student, I
appeared for competitive exam for admission in Bachelor of Pharmacy. Among the
various options available to me, I decided to pursue my undergraduate studies from
Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra, India. My
bachelor degree in Pharmacy was a wonderful learning experience. I thoroughly
enjoyed all the subjects and the laboratory sessions were a

What I ve Personally Grown Up On Windows Computers
I ve personally grown up on Windows computers. I ve taught myself all the
keyboard shortcuts and quick fixes if something is to go wrong. Before I started to
attend college, I was given a brand new MacBook as a gift. MacBooks are quite
popular and are everywhere on college campuses so I thought it was great. Sadly, I
was wrong and I couldn t leave windows. A lot of the programs I used were native to
Windows and all my shortcuts were different. I couldn t return the MacBook, and I
didn t want to go through the hassle of selling it so I turned to the third option,
virtualization.

Normal operating systems use a supervisor to handle interaction between hardware
and software. A supervisor, or supervisory program, is a program at the operating
system controls the execution of other routines and regulates work scheduling, input
output operations, error actions, and similar functions (atis.org). Virtualization allows
a host to run multiple operating systems at once so it requires something a little bit
more advanced than a supervisor. Virtual machines use a hypervisor, or virtual
machine manager. The hypervisor is used to handle hardware and software
interaction. High end hypervisors allow users to add/remove virtual hard drives,
virtual network cards, virtual RAM, etc. There are many different types of
virtualization. Server virtualization, application virtualization, and storage
virtualization are some of the most common. One of the main reasons people use
virtualization software is because it saves money. If a Mac user needs a Windows
program for work or for school, it would be a lot cheaper for them to use
virtualization software as opposed to buying a Windows computer. Virtualization also
allows for multiple tasks to be done on one system. Instead of having a personal Mac
computer and having a separate Windows computer hosting a server, you can have
the server hosted through a virtualization program. Running servers through
The Glass Cage By Nicholas Carr Summary
According to a recent study by the Pew Research Center, nearly two thirds of the
United States adults own a smartphone, which is up from 35% in 2011 (Anderson
and Posts). As the acceptance of smartphones expand, many question whether it will
have an adverse impact on our lives. Author Nicholas Carr indirectly criticizes the use
of a smartphone; however, smartphones, such as Apple s iPhone can have both
positive and negative impacts on a population. In The Glass Cage author Nicolas Carr
demonstrates that when digital devices automate or oust human burdens, there is a
root for anguish; automation generally brings a hasty corollary for people. Carr
claims that smartphones are deskilling us, because doing activities done on a
smartphone manually helps people with automaticity. The most notable evidence
Carr uses to support his thesis is when he claims that people will have a smartphone
automation bias Automation bias is closely related to automation complacency. It
creeps in when people give undue weight to the information coming through their
monitors. Even when the information is wrong or misleading, they believe it. Their
trust becomes so strong that they ignore or discount other sources of information,
including their own senses (Carr). The author also claims, that physically writing

that can be seen in the Manifesto and finally to whom in society the Manifesto was

Dialectical Journal For To Kill A Mockingbird
I am reading the novel, To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee. In chapters 1 3, a girl
nicknamed Scout introduces her home of Maycomb County, Alabama in which
she has scary neighbors and a new friend that comes there. She goes to her first day
of school and gets in trouble for an unknown reason to her. Then, the rude Ewell
family is introduced and described, and Scout talks to her father about not going to
school. In this journal, I will be predicting the kids will not meet Boo because he is

Here, it shows that since the kids never saw Boo, he must be locked up and is not
able to come outside. Another reason the kids think he is locked up is because the
doors of the Radley place are always closed. The text says, The doors of the Radley
house were closed on weekdays as well as Sundays, and Mr. Radley s boy was not
seen again for fifteen years (Lee 13). This shows, Boo is locked up because their
doors were closed so no one would see that Boo was locked up, and he was not
seen again. The third reason the kids think he is locked up is because he never
came out of the house when Mr. Radley died. Instead, his older brother returned
most likely to keep Boo locked up in the house. Boo s older brother would not have
come home if it were not for having to keep an eye on him. Next, the kids are
scared. The first reason they are scared is because they say the Radley pecans that
fall in the schoolyard will kill you if you eat them. The book says, ...but the nuts lay
untouched by the children: Radley pecans would kill you (Lee 11). Here, it shows
that they did not even touch the nuts, because they were so scared of anything that
had to do with the Radley s. One other reason they are scared is because
Tarod Thornhill Shooting In The Monroeville Scandal
On February 7, 2015, there was a shooting in the Monroeville Mall in Monroeville,

Thornhill managed to escape after the shooting, but because the mall had

Travis Hirschi and Michael Gottfredson were the two theorists that came together to

It is easy to say that species are constantly changing,...
It is easy to say that species are constantly changing, and branching off into totally
new species. But how do we know where the species originate? Phylogenies help to
show us how all kinds of species are related to each other, and why. These
relationships are put into what can be called a cladogram, which links species to
common ancestors, in turn showing where, when, how, and why these ancestors
diverged to form new species. Without phylogenies, it would be extremely difficult to
put species in specific categories or relate them to one another. Along with
phylogenies can come conflict on which species should be related to one another.
This conflict causes many hypotheses and experiments, which can lead to
phylogenetic retrofitting,... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The parareptile hypothesis is taken back at least two decades. It has recently been
rediscovered and contradicted by parsimony. Bayesian inferences support this
parareptile conclusion, but parsimony concludes the idea of turtles being a sister
group to pareiasaurs, which is an anapsid group, including Eunotosaurus. To test these
hypothesis, a multitude of data is compiled to observe the stability behind the
inferences made. In this article, one main experiment was discussed through the
collection and analysis of two retrofitted matrices, phylogenetic analyses, and
molecular scaffolds. In one matrice, Eunotosaurus was added to a diapsid focused
data set, while turtles were added to an anapsid focused data set. The diapsid sets
included a broad sampling of diapsids, which placed turtles as sisters to
sauropterygians. The anapsid set, on the other hand, included a broad sampling of
anapsids, especially parareptiles. Turtles were not included in the anapsid set. When
the experiment moves on to the phylogenetic analysis, Bayesian inferences and
parsimony were brought into the mix. After these analyses, the experiment finally
includes molecular scaffolding. The effect of molecular scaffolding was to see where
extant linneages interact with molecular phylogenies. The, the Bayesian and
parsimony analyses were again repeated with these backbone constraints while
everything else is indifferent. The idea
No Man Should Have All That Power
Question 1 No man should have all that power; you got the power to let power go.
This quote comes from rapper Kanye West, sung during his hit song Power. Although
West is far from being a positive influence on American history, he makes a valid
point. If history has shown the world anything it is that power can lead to an infinite
amount of negative outcomes: greed, corruption, dishonesty, exploitation and so on.
And while the writers of the U.S. constitution did their best to prevent the threats of
power from overtaking the country s leaders, states like Texas have brought it into
their owns hands to even further prevent power from effecting their state s politicians.

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, widely regarded as one of the greatest composers in
the history of Western music (Sadie , 1) was an Austrian composer born in
Salzburg on January 27, 1756 to Leopold Mozart and Anna Maria, nГ©e Pertl, the
former of whom was an experienced music teacher and a minor composer in his
own right. Wolfgang Amadeus was the youngest of seven children, though only he
and his older sister also named Anna Maria, survived infancy. A child prodigy,
Mozart was often caught observing the keyboard lessons given to his sister, and by
the age of three could be seen:

Review of Bail Bond System To begin the process of bail, first there must be a
suspect, an arrest, a police report filled out, and charges filed against the suspect.
From here, there are five possible release options: own recognizance, property bond,
cash bond, surety bond, and citation release. In the following paragraphs, I will
present each of these topics and show how they are typically used. The most
commonly used form of release from jail, until the court date, is own recognizance

Different Types Of Management Positions Essay
Organizations have many types of employees. Some employees work on work on
specific tasks and are not accountable for anyone but themselves. The work, they do
is supervised by a manager, who is overseen by another supervisor or manager and
this continues on until one reaches the top level of management. A manager in an
organization is a supervisor who oversees and directs the work of their employees in
the organization. The three core levels of managementinclude, but are not limited to
top level management, middle management, and first level management (Daft, 2014).
This essay will cover the different types of management positions that each type of
manager holds, and accountabilities of each level of management.
The top level of management hierarchy is called top management. Some job titles
at this level are called president, vice president, managing director and chief
executive officer, which these managers usually have many years of experience and
they have a very public occupation. If a deposition or press conference is being held
they are the ones that are addressed. Top level managers do not deal with the day to
day business activities, but are more concerned with setting goals and developing
policies that ensure the company is running the most efficiently it can. For example,
the goals will include company profitability, employee retention, growth or expansion
and increased efficiency. Top level managers of an organazation set goals, determine

Aristotle Utilitarian And Kantian Ethics
Before we touch upon assessing the Aristotelian, Utilitarian and Kantian moral
wrongness and their different approaches to evaluating their moral theories. We
should get a better understanding of what exactly are morals and how each and
every one of us goes about identifying such a concept. The primary concern of ethics
is based around this notion of morality. Morality can be defined as a set of
fundamental rules that guide our actions. Most of the morals that each and every
one of us embody, are learned and adopted from our everyday exposures, such as
parents, friends, teachers or even our cultural society. Additionally, morals are
previous experiences that we have learned concerning what is right from wrong and
what is acceptable... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Moreover, Unitarianism intent is to return morality to the search for personal
satisfaction, something that Kantian theory had disregarded. For Aristotle,
Aristotelian focuses not so much as what can be classified as moral or unmoral,
but rather the concept of virtue. According to the Greek philosopher, ethics I its
stress on being virtuous as opposed to merely following moral rules. As stated by
Aristotle, virtue is a rational activity, activity in accordance with a rational
principle and his concentration of man as an essential rational being of the natural
good for a man is. Discovering what a man desires for his own benefit, rather than
for the benefit of others. Over the course of my lifetime, I have not only witnessed
many accounts of things that are morally wrong and very likely have done some
things that are morally wrong on my own behalf. But the particular experience to
which I m about to share with you was something that has not only stuck with me
for many years now, but is also a scenario I often find myself pondering from time
to time. This experience is not only something I hope nobody would have to go
through again, but also something I can t even fathom happened to this day. Back in
high school our lacrosse team was a pretty dominant program. We didn t like to lose
and we didn t lose very often. In this particular experience one of my teammates, a

Pressure On Teenagers To Go To College Essay

Is There Too Much Pressure On Teenagers To Go To College? Teens are under
immense pressure to join college. Reason being everyone expects them to perform
very well in every discipline which may not be the case for some. Everyone has
different abilities, and when one is under pressure to deliver especially in school,
the feeling can be frustrating. Parents want the best for their children and so do the
teachers and the society in general. Many admire joining the top colleges, followed
by a lucrative job in this competitive economy. To meet these expectations, teens

This is where they have to choose a path before joining the next level either college,

With the daily activities happening in their life, they are anxious to keep up. For

There is many cases in the world where people decide to stay quiet or pretend like
something did not happen just because they do not want to be part of the process.
Most of the time when people stay quiet it affects everybody else. Let s say that
there were to be a undecided decision on whether the teacher should buy her
students pizza or chips. And, every student voted for pizza, but about half of the
class wanted chips instead. That can affect what the teacher buys the students
because what if not everyone wanted the same thing that is why everyone should
stand up for what they want and not stay quiet. My parents are always voting when
our city has to vote for a new mayor or our district attorneys, and I always ask them
why they vote every time. They tell me they vote because they believe that one
vote can make a difference. They do not want someone that is not that good of a

their subjects in large format, similar to those in historical paintings. The painting
proved successful with critics at the French Le Salon de 1859, because they
appreciated the naturalistic and poetic vision of the rural world. The interest in the
painting, however, was based on the art itself, not the message. Many of today s
critics say that Breton saw things differently than his fellow Realists, especially

Gestalt Therapy is a humanistic therapy technique established by Laura and Fritz
Perls in the 1940 1950 s. This therapy focuses on acquiring awareness of emotions
and behaviours that exists in the here and now rather than delving into the past.
Instead of the therapist interpreting experiences for the client, the therapist works
with the client to develop an understanding of the world through the client s eyes,
thereby helping the client to gain a deeper understanding of him/herself. Clients are
encouraged to recognise their current needs, address them and then let these needs
fade into the background. The well adjusted person is seen as someone who
recognises their ongoing flow of needs and has the ability satisfy those needs (Falex,
2008).
I had the opportunity to experience a Gestalt technique with a therapist while in high
school. I was having trouble committing to my studies and had a lot of anxiety about
the imminent national School Certificate exams. My therapist brought out two chairs
and asked me to sit in one and imagine that School Certificate was in the other chair
and then let me dialogue my fears before swapping chairs and having me respond to
myself as School Certificate. From my perspective, the best thing about this therapy
is that by bringing the past or future problem into the current moment, it gives the
client the opportunity to step into and experience both sides of the conflict. This

The End of the Road After several years of wrangling with the opposition, Tucker

Shades of Musk and Tesla? There is much that can be gleaned by Letho s work,
which I think has an important place in chronicling Tucker history, even without the

These pieces of legislation do not apply to debt management firms that act as brokers,

The Character Of The Animal Man, By George Orwell
Describe the villain/antagonist of the story. At first the reader is led to believe
that the main villain is Mr Jones, the farmer who treated the animals like slaves
and never gave them the fruits of their labor. After learning more about the
characters and how they develop, you can see that the pigs become more and
more like their enemies, the humans. This fact can be proven by quoting the last
paragraph of the book: The creatures outside looked from pig to man, and from
man to pig, and from pig to man again: but already it was impossible to say which
was which. This paragraph highlights that the pigs became what they once hated
because they oppressed the other animals and even sunk so low as to have parties
which were only privy to pigs and humans. Using evidence from the text, what is
the author s purpose for writing this story? In appendix one it states that If the fable
were addressed generally to dictators and dictatorships at large then publication
would be alright, but the fable does follow, as I see now, so completely the progress
of the Russian Soviets and their two dictators, that it can apply only to Russia, to the
exclusion of other dictatorships. (Letter from the Ministry of Information to George
Orwell). In writing this book, the author wanted to draw attention to problems that
were troubling the world and the time of him writing it (1937 1943). The book
mostly focused on the progress of the Russian soviets as stated in the Appendix. What

The Canadian Criminal Justice System
It is believed that while all human kind may have had common beginnings in the
millennia past, the course of human history prevents all races from reverting back to
that common kind. It is further believed that the racism that subsists in today s
society does not exist in the same manner within Canada. While Canadais an
egalitarian society, a close examination would suggest that the blunt historical and
social truths of racism that are often smugly denied exist very much in Canadian
society and have seeped into the Canadian criminal justicesystem. The racialization of
crime, discriminatory policing, minority overrepresentation in prison populations and
a blatant denial of justice are aspects of the system that taint much of its past and
create a worried present. This paper argues against the prevalent Canadian defence of
egalitarianism by establishing the presence of systemic discrimination within the
Canadian criminal justice system.
Whether it is through print or through television screens, the press is the today s
public s sole source of news; especially news about crime and the courts. The
tendency of the press to focus on crimes committed by minorities majorly influences
the justice system s reaction to minority offenders. A minority criminal is never given
the racial anonymity that a non minority criminal enjoys. The following are news

Conflict Of Self In John Calvin, The Accusative Case
John Calvin s Conflict of Self
John Calvin, the Accusative Case as he was called by friends, was known for being a
stern and humorless theologian and in truth he was, but there was more to him than
just that. Throughout his career, he was staunch in the belief of predetermination
above all other thought. Unlike Luther, Calvin had not begun life with the mindset of
being a preacher, but he arguably had just as much, if not more of an impact as a
reformer. More humanist than previous reformers, but not truly that either, Calvin
existed in a state of conflict. Calvin was educated as a French Humanist with a less
than humanist view of predestination that culminated in an influential, but unfulfilled
life.
Calvin had a different beginning to that of most reformists, which lent him a unique
perspective. According to Calvin his father had destined me for the study of theology.
But afterwards, when he considered that the legal profession commonly raised those
who followed it to wealth , but in truth he could not initially join the church due to the
very same father embezzling money. Whether this original desire left Calvin with a

Instruction Methods For Teaching Decisions
I honestly thought that this lesson was going to be taught to teach to the class. I
spent countless hours reading the information in the curriculum handbook and even
collaborating with other teachers just to understand the material properly. I was
thoroughly surprised at how well the lesson was received and it greatly boosted
my self confidence in my planning and teaching decisions. This lesson was all
about symmetry and dividing crazy cakes evenly between two people by looking
for smaller shapes within the larger shape. The shapes of the cakes literally were
crazy because they were not shaped like your normal cake. There were many
different angles and sides, because of this each student had to really sit and visualize
what other shapes were inside the cake. I feel that my instruction methods worked
great for this lesson. I followed the plan given to me by the curriculum book by
talking about the activityfirst then letting the students work together in groups to
divide the cakes as best as possible. I thoughtit would be beneficial to let students
come up to the board and practice with dividing the cakes before letting them work
with their groups. I think that by allowing a few of them to show their initial
thought process allowed others to see how they could divide their cakes as well. I
then gave direct instructions on how we were to transition to our tables and begin
working on their crazy cakes. The classroom has been struggling lately with
transitions, so I was very

Analysis Of I Shot The Sheriff Essay
Stories within Music Flash fiction can take on many different forms and
structures. The type of material used and the way it is used can vary exceedingly
or in the slightest way. Using media, such as music, can help make the story
relevant towards the reader, and also help guide the author in his or her particular
direction. As mentioned earlier, the way outside resources gets used can vary as
seen in both TourГ© I Shot the Sheriff and Chris L. Terry At Home with Rapper s
Delight . Although both TourГ© I Shot the Sheriff and Chris L. Terry At Home
with Rapper s Delight use a popular song as a platform to create a captivating short
fictional story, they choose different elements of those songs to build it. In I Shot
the Sheriff the story uses the lyrics of a song, and in At Home with Rapper s
Delight the story uses the history surrounding the song. The first story, I Shot the
Sheriff by TourГ©, tells a narrative about a man named Bob and the conflict faced
between him and Sheriff John Brown. As the conflict continues to increase, Bob
ends up killing Sheriff John Brown as self defense with the gun given to him by
his friend Gabriel. Although Bob claims it was self defense, he was later killed for
it. . It may or may not seem obvious for some people to conclude that TourГ© in
fact written this narrative story based on the lyrics from I Shot the Sheriff by Bob
Marely. I Shot the Sheriff is a famous song known by many, and TourГ© used its
lyrics to write a fascinating
One Person By Ralph Ellison Analysis
The author uses the concept of a person having power and once they have it ,they
would rather fall back on their preconceived judgement of someone else in power
than make a new judgement of every individual. The idea is compounded by adding
racism, which shows the imbalances of judgement of those in power and uses raceto
group together an individual
For example, Norton is used in the story to show how people with power will view
others in terms of their own goals rather than individuals. This is seen when
Norton has the narrator promise to write the outcome of his education. Norton is
generalizing all black as in need of aid to be a member of society and sees our
narrator as a member of his group instead of an individual person. Bledsoe is

Finally, The impacts of force and the dreamlike illusion in supremacist

The Baroreceptor Reflex and the Diving Reflex
The baroreceptor reflex and the diving reflex are both two great mechanisms that
incorporate both the nervous system and cardiovascular system working together.
The nervous system is connected through a series of vessels throughout the human
body. The circulatory system is one of the bodies most important mechanisms that
helps carry and transport nutrients and oxygen through bloodcirculation to help digest
foods, fight off diseases, and keep the body at homeostasis. The nervous system is
basically an extended system of the brain. Every action that the brain thinks, relays it
through the nervous system to the specific body part to perform that action. Nerves
send information from and to the brain to help regulate and operate organs and
muscles in the body. Now how these two systems operate together can be described
and explained through information about the baroreceptor reflex and diving reflex.
The baroreceptor reflex is a homeostatic mechanism in the body which helps
regulate a stable blood pressure. The way that the baroreceptor reflex works is that it
provides a negative feedback loop so that when blood pressure increases, the reflex
causes the heartrate to decrease in return decreasing blood pressure. When there is
increased blood pressure, the carotid arteries and aorta stretches causing the
baroreceptor reflex to increase it s action potential generation. These action potentials
are sent to the medulla oblongata through nerves in the body, and as a result,
Psychosocial Development Analysis
Erik Erikson is famous for his theory of psychosocial development, which
emphasizes the sociocultural development and created eight stages that children
undergo psychosocial conflicts. Children ages five to twelve go through the stage
of industry vs. inferiority. The stage industry vs. inferiority is were children
develop a sense of competence at useful skills and tasks during their middle
childhood (Berk Meyers, 2015). Children during this stage experience self doubt
and their self esteem tends to be low. Fifth graders should have a rite of passage
that marks an important stage in their life, which is competency during middle
childhood. The first stage that fifth graders should overcome is separation for the
week long program. The program will consist of a five day camp trip to the Yosemite

  • 2. Analysis Of Crooked Smile In the past five years, social and political injustices against people of color have been a reoccurring story in the news. Presently, it is common to find out that another defenseless black teen has been killed or a black woman is getting a twenty year sentence for being found in possession of marijuana. In fact, we, as a society, have been desensitized to such news. It, unfortunately, doesn t faze us, everyday people, anymore, but it should. Especially for innocent, little girls killed in drugraids like Aiyana Stanley Jones. In 2013, the famous rapper, J. Cole, released a heart clenching video in dedication of Stanley Jones for his song Crooked Smile. The song Crooked Smile promotes female empowerment through encouraging women to accept themselves, moreover J. Cole tells his fans that he is an everyday person just like them which is seen from him keeping his own crooked smile. The music video of Crooked Smile narrates a story about a drug raid that leads up to an innocent, little girls death. The music video features the story behind the little girl s death through moving images in this mini film. The song and music video are seemingly different from each other, initially, however they both share a common message of No one s perfect. The music video, Crooked Smile , aims to persuade its audience to act against such social injustices like America s war on drugs. J. Cole organized the Crooked Smile music video to, specifically, focus on the similarities of people
  • 3. Feminine Traits Alone Aren t Enough Make A Feminist Role... Feminine traits alone aren t enough make you a feminist role model either. This idea is made clear by author Stephenie Meyer, the author of the Twilight Saga. Throughout the books, Bella Swan is a 17 year old girl who is moving in with her father, out of town. She soon meets the Cullen family, realizes they are vampires, and eventually becomes devoted to one of the males, Edward. During the course of the series, Bella is overly emotional about a variety of things, most of the time she is considered to be overreacting. It is clear that Bella needs help with almost everything she does, she even comes off as the damsel in distress in most of the series. While these characteristics are considered feminine, it still doesn t make Bella a true... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Bella responds with Mostly I dream about being with you forever (Meyers, Twilight 498). She says this to try to tell Edward that she is willing to risk anything, even her own life to be with him. Bella won t listen to Edward despite him trying to convince her she is overreacting. Ever since the beginning of Bella and Edward s relationship the two are almost inseparable, which is why when he decides to end their relationship and leave in the second book, Bella becomes insane. She stares outside for hours on end, and refuses to go anywhere or hang out with her friends. Bella s dad confronts her about her behavior saying, you re just... lifeless Bella (Meyers, New Moon 95). Clearly, she is overreacting, however she is truly fitting the role of a basic clingy girlfriend . While emotion is considered a female trait, a lot of people believe that all females overreact to everything, which is exactly what Bella is doing by the way she reacts when Edward breaks up with her. Bella is not good feminist role model because of her overreactions. In addition to her overreactions, Bella is also excessively vulnerable. It seems as though Bella can t do anything without needing help from someone. For example, in the first book, she can t seem to move herself out of the way of an oncoming car, in fact, Edward who is quite a distance away has to rush over to save her. Bella is standing next to her truck when she notices a car coming at her, I was able to absorb in

Later on in the second stanza, he author describes the tree the narrator would have planted as a green sapling rising among the twisted apple boughs . The author uses visual color imagery of the color green to describe the sapling in order to emphasize just how young the newborn was when he died. Later on in the poem, the narrator speaks of himself and his brothers kneeling in front of the newly plated tree. The fact that they are kneeling represents respect for the deceased. When the narrator mentions that the weather is cold it is a reference back to the first stanza when he says of an old year coming to an end . Later on in the third stanza the author writes all that remains above earth of a first born son which means that the deceased child has been buried. They also compare the child to the size of a few stray atoms to emphasize that he was an infant. Life in a rural town can be tough, but when faced with complications, it can be almost unbearable. When Ethan decides to marry his distant cousin, Zeena, his life turns down a long and lonesome road. Ethan s lack of assertiveness and decisive action only worsens his already lonesome and stressful life. Though too intelligent for rural life, Ethan finds himself stuck in an average man s shoes. When he is forced to take her away, he tells Mattie about a story similar to theirs(Wharton, 56); he offers the chance for them to run away together, but Mattie declines. If Ethan had only made the decision for them, or stood up to Zeena, his life would be much better off. When Mattie is finally forced to go, Ethan faces the hardest decision he s ever had to make. Both Mattie and he are in love with each other and neither of the two know what to do now that they will be separated forever. Ethan decides to take Mattie to the train station instead of letting Jotham Powell, which turns out to be one of Ethan s many bad choices. On their way to the train stop, Ethan takes Mattie sledding for the first time since she arrived in Starkfield(Wharton, 69). The fun they had together while sledding only reminded them of what they would be missing when Mattie finally had to leave. Faced with no where else to go, Mattie suggests to Ethan that they ride the sled straight in to the big elm so that they ll never have to be apart again(Wharton, 71). The Diagnosis And Treatment Of Breast Cancer 3D Mammography The diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer and other non cancerous diseases are very important in improving the quality of life for many women. The early diagnosis of the non cancerous disease can reduce the incidence of breast cancer through effective treatment of mastopathy (fibrocystic of the breasts tissue). In the area of study, a variety of imaging modalities is implemented to assist with the diagnosis. These imaging modalities includes multi frequency electrical impedance mammography, ultrasonic investigation, X ray mammography and puncture biopsy. Various radiographic modalities are used in clinical settings to identify lesions that are suspicious for breast cancer, mammography is still the modality of choice for breast cancerscreening. Breast sonogram is limited mainly to the diagnostic follow up to clarify features of a potential abnormal lesion detected by the mammographic study. Patients undergoing mammography when any abnormalities detected patient often have the sonographic examination of the breast to confirm the underlying conditions. Sonomammography is used to assess breast tissue such as cystic versus solid structures seen on the mammogram (Bontrager Lampignano, 2014). Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) use is evolving in the field of breast cancer screening, currently, it is used in combination with mammography for high risk patients (Siddique, 2014). 3D mammography (or tomosynthesis), is a new screening and diagnostic breast imaging

These relationships are put into what can be called a cladogram, which links species to common ancestors, in turn showing where, when, how, and why these ancestors diverged to form new species. To test these hypothesis, a multitude of data is compiled to observe the stability behind the inferences made. In this article, one main experiment was discussed through the collection and analysis of two retrofitted matrices, phylogenetic analyses, and molecular scaffolds. In one matrice, Eunotosaurus was added to a diapsid focused data set, while turtles were added to an anapsid focused data set. The diapsid sets included a broad sampling of diapsids, which placed turtles as sisters to sauropterygians. The anapsid set, on the other hand, included a broad sampling of anapsids, especially parareptiles. Turtles were not included in the anapsid set. A manager in an organization is a supervisor who oversees and directs the work of their employees in the organization. It was typical of the Realist movement to show their subjects in large format, similar to those in historical paintings. The painting proved successful with critics at the French Le Salon de 1859, because they appreciated the naturalistic and poetic vision of the rural world. The interest in the painting, however, was based on the art itself, not the message. This therapy focuses on acquiring awareness of emotions and behaviours that exists in the here and now rather than delving into the past. Instead of the therapist interpreting experiences for the client, the therapist works with the client to develop an understanding of the world through the client s eyes, thereby helping the client to gain a deeper understanding of him/herself. Clients are encouraged to recognise their current needs, address them and then let these needs fade into the background. At first the reader is led to believe that the main villain is Mr Jones, the farmer who treated the animals like slaves and never gave them the fruits of their labor. After learning more about the characters and how they develop, you can see that the pigs become more and more like their enemies, the humans. This fact can be proven by quoting the last paragraph of the book: The creatures outside looked from pig to man, and from man to pig, and from pig to man again: but already it was impossible to say which was which. This paragraph highlights that the pigs became what they once hated because they oppressed the other animals and even sunk so low as to have parties which were only privy to pigs and humans. Using evidence from the text, what is the author s purpose for writing this story? In appendix one it states that If the fable were addressed generally to dictators and dictatorships at large then publication would be alright, but the fable does follow, as I see now, so completely the progress of the Russian Soviets and their two dictators, that it can apply only to Russia, to the exclusion of other dictatorships. While Canadais an egalitarian society, a close examination would suggest that the blunt historical and social truths of racism that are often smugly denied exist very much in Canadian society and have seeped into the Canadian criminal justicesystem. The racialization of crime, discriminatory policing, minority overrepresentation in prison populations and a blatant denial of justice are aspects of the system that taint much of its past and create a worried present. The nervous system is connected through a series of vessels throughout the human body. The circulatory system is one of the bodies most important mechanisms that helps carry and transport nutrients and oxygen through bloodcirculation to help digest foods, fight off diseases, and keep the body at homeostasis. The nervous system is basically an extended system of the brain. Every action that the brain thinks, relays it through the nervous system to the specific body part to perform that action. Nerves send information from and to the brain to help regulate and operate organs and muscles in the body. Now how these two systems operate together can be described and explained through information about the baroreceptor reflex and diving reflex. The baroreceptor reflex is a homeostatic mechanism in the body which helps regulate a stable blood pressure. The way that the baroreceptor reflex works is that it provides a negative feedback loop so that when blood pressure increases, the reflex causes the heartrate to decrease in return decreasing blood pressure. When there is increased blood pressure, the carotid arteries and aorta stretches causing the baroreceptor reflex to increase it s action potential generation. These action potentials are sent to the medulla oblongata through nerves in the body, and as a result,
