The smell and sound of fried pork sizzling and lingering in the air made all my customers mouths
water. Their eyes staring at my homemade й¤ѓеђ Jiaozi. With freshly picked cabbage, mushrooms,

I could see people bleeding out of different parts of their bodies, heads chopped off, and girls
being raped. With every death I saw, I felt weakened. I heard screams of death, and hundreds of
Chinese soldiers yelling. As I look towards them I could see two Tanks and a dozen soldiers
standing with guns pointed towards the Chinese. I knew I had to save them, so I bolted towards
the tanks with my chest full of confidence and a grenade in each hand, I was gonna blow up the
Japanese tanks, soldiers, and sacrifice myself for Chinese soldiers. I was almost at the tank, but
a sharp pain in my chest struck, It was the feeling of terror and afraidness. My soul was telling
me not to do this, I was too afraid. So, instead of sacrificing myself, I threw both stick grenades
towards the tanks hoping that it would do damage. With nothing happening I threw two more and
screams of bloody murder rang throughout my ears. Fleeing as fast as I could the opposite way I
hid for cover, watching for other survivors with bulging eyes of fear covered in red stringy veins.
There were only fifteen survivors from that group running towards me crying Get to

Supply Of Viable Grocery Store Options
In the Logan Square neighborhood, there is a lack of viable grocery store options. Nonetheless,
throughout the City of Chicago there is an abundant amount of restaurants and food options;
however, many of these food options are not the healthiest. As stated by the Food Empowerment
Project, a food desert is typically Described as geographic areas where residents access to
affordable, healthy food options [...] is restricted or nonexistent due to the absence of grocery
stores within convenient travelling distance. Moreover, the people who live in these food
deserts are low income families and minorities. These food deserts are the leading cause of food
insecurity. Food insecurity is defined as limited or uncertain availability of nutritious food
options. Throughout the Chicago area, there are countless unhealthy food options. Just walking
down a street, one is able to see at least one fast food place. Since fast food places are within
walking distance, people will visit them more often. For example, in Logan Square there is a
Dunkin Donuts, Burger King, and Taco Bell all within a minute of each other. In addition to those
fast food places, there is an alarming number of small convenience stores in a given neighborhood.
These convenience stores make it Difficult to locate foods that are culturally appropriate for

Summary Of New Foundings
Epilogue: New Foundings
It is a chilly morning in the hustling city of New York. Cars are honking, citizens are yelling, and
employees are on business calls. For Jack Merridew, these sounds are nothing compared to
Sergeant Crosby s stentorian wake up call.
Every morning at five o clock, Jack would start the day making his bed, putting on his uniform,
eating breakfast, and heading out for his daily drills. Being in the military has always been
something Jack was set on doing. He worked hard to get into the Royal Military Academy in
Camberley. So when he got accepted, he felt competent. However, after a month of constant
struggles and put downs, he had suddenly started doubting himself. He had given it a few more
weeks to see if things ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
I know this is not allowed, but I think this is a good opportunity to get myself out of this stump.
Sergeant Crosby let out an annoyed grunt. He told Jack that he should expect to hear back within
a week. After that week, Jack got a response. Sergeant Crosby said, Five days Merridew. Only this
once. I talked to the head coordinators and although they were reluctant, I was able to convince
them. I believe you re not the type to run away from something, just because you can t face it.
Sergeant Crosby was right. Although Jack loved being in the military, he was just having a hard
time at the moment.
Jack heads out to the buzzing streets with a cup of coffee in his hands. He contemplates for a
second whether he should go get a nice breakfast, but decides against it. Hey! Care to buy a
newspaper to start off the morning? It is a good one today. Buy it would ya? yells a voice a few
feet away. Jack turns to the direction of the voice. A middle aged man with a strong New York
accent is looking at him. Jack replies, No, I m good. Thank you anyways. He thought of two
reasons he wasn t going to buy the newspaper, he didn t care much for today s news and the man
was being too rude to even think about doing business with.
You sure buddy? You re going to miss out I m telling you! insisted the man.
Jack grits his teeth. He knows the man won t stop pestering him if he keeps denying. Might as
well buy one for today. Fifty cents won t leave a dent

Indirect Murder Cases
While many thousands of murder cases go unsolved every year, it is a probable assumption that
the general public would most likely only be able to name all they knew on one hand. In no
particular order, the top three reoccurring would most likely be: the 1994 murder of Nicole Brown
Simpson and Ron Goldman (estranged ex husband Orenthal James Simpson), the 2008 murderof
Caylee Anthony (mother Casey Anthony), and the 1996 murder of JonBenet Ramsey (Patsy,
John, and Burke Ramsey). As all of these are high profile cold cases, all of them have thoroughly
investigated not only by local investigators but also through the public eye, yet no charges have
been filed against any party. Two of the three cases show blatant similarities one is that two of the
three happened within the first six years of life (Caylee Anthony and JonBenet Ramsey), and in
these cases the mothers were investigated more than any other possible suspect. One man has
reviewed these previous cases in addition to multiple others, Stephen Diamond, who is a clinical
and forensic psychologist in Los Angeles is further reviewing the JonBenet murder from the stance
of a psychologist, just after the case has been cold for twenty years. Diamond is not writing this
article to solve the crime, or even attempt to, but to offer a forensic psychologist s viewpoint. The

Investigatively there is not much that can be done to solve this crime twenty years later, but what
can be done is the analyzation of the family involved. Multiple aspects of JonBenet s murder are
considered abnormal, so it would be easy to write an entire report on just the strange things that
occurred. Like a true professional, Diamond does not show any evidence of bias, and only is basing
his analysis on the facts of the investigation, not on the assumptions from the

The Issue Of Women s Suffrage
Blindness separates people from things; deafness separates people from people. (Helen Keller).
The biggest problem when it comes to women s rights is that people refuse to hear that there is a
problem. This situation is very familiar in today s world. People refuse to understand that even
though women do have more rights than they did in the past, there are still issues that need to be
addressed. Women s suffrage is one of the most respected and memorable historical events. This
movement has been forgotten because it has been so long ago, men and women both are losing
respect for women s rights. Some men disrespect women s bodies and refuse to acknowledge that
they should have rights. People are forgetting that historic prodigies fought day... Show more

Humanitarian reforms such as the elimination of cruel punishment, the dissemination of
empathy inducing novels, and the abolition of slavery were met with fierce opposition in their
time by ecclesiastical authorities and their apologists. The elevation of parochial values to the
realm of the sacred is a license to dismiss other people s interests, and an imperative to reject the
possibility of compromise. (Steven Pinker). Women are not the only people to face
discrimination of rights. Everyday, someone is denied of their natural born rights. Whether it be
a woman, man, homosexual, animal, or child. It is arbitrary to treat a woman any less than a
man, not only because what women are capable of, but because they are people. Everyone on this
Earth deserves to be equal. That is why women should have equal rights, to their bodies, labor
payment, and health care. The life of a person is very valuable, and should be treated as such. The
next time you want to compare or disclose the natural rights of a woman, think about how you
would feel if an individual abducted your natural

What Were The Main Ideas Of Islam
What were the main ideas of Islam?
The people of Islam had a city called Mecca, where pilgrimage took place. It consisted of temples
with Arab God and a large stone called the Kaabah. Muhammad was born in 570 in Mecca, and
raised by his uncle after the death of both his parents. He was a very pious man, and he prayed in
caves. At the age of 40, a message was sent to Muhammad through Gabriel from Allah, who was
also the God of Jews and Christians. The messages sent from Allah to Mohammad through out his
life were later collected into the holy book of Islam called the Qur an. Muhammad created the
religion Islam, and his people were called Muslims, which means the one who submits . They had

almsgiving; about 2 percent of everyone s wealth should be given as charity every year. The
fourth pillar was called the holy month of Ramadan, which appears in different season depending
on the lunar calendar. During Ramadan, Muslims would fast from sunrise to sunset. The purpose
of Ramadan is for Muslims to go hungry for one month so they can have sympathy for poor

Attitude And Death Of Ancient Greece
Attitude to Death.
Greek
Background: Ancient Greece was a civilization that existed from the 8th 6th Century BC, also
called the Archaic Period, to the end of antiquity, around 600 AD. It is most famous for its
philosophers, artwork and mythology. They worshiped their deities such as Zeus, Hades and
Poseidon.... Their major demise came at the hands of the Macedonians in 338 BC after Greece had
been weakened by the Peloponnesian War. A war between the Spartans and the Athenians leaving
the Spartans victorious but exhausted of their resources and men.
Attitude to Dying: Death for the Greeks was not such a simple process. Seeing as they believed so
firmly in the afterlife death was not really feared, rather life was cherished. As shown by this quote.
I d rather be a day laborer on earth working for a man of little property than lord of all the hosts of
the dead. Achilles in the Iliad.
Upon death the psyche or soul left the body as a little breath or puff of wind. The body would
then undergo a time honored burial ritual. The ritual was split into two parts. The prothesis, the
laying out of the body. The ekphora, the funeral procession. And the interment of the body or
cremated remains of the deceased. During this process the ancient Greeks placed coins in the
deceased s mouth and tied a strap around the head and jaw to keep it closed. These coins served as
the toll for the ferry across the river Styx. During this time, people viewed the body and placed
flowers or other

Similarites Between the Theories of Max Weber and Karl Marx
Max Weber and Karl Marx have often been regarded as influential theorists who both analyzed in
how the society is constructed in relationship to its economic conditions, more specifically on
the division of labour. Both the labour and economics create a force on how societies are shaped
and because of that Weber and Marx each developed a unique theory on how individuals react
and how societies are formed. Many individuals say that, Marx and Weber both analyzed similar
ideas however, they both had two very different perspective on it. The disparity between the two
theorists was not about the idea that division does not exist, but rather how society acknowledged
and reacted to the division. Max Weber s theory is that capitalist system is... Show more content on

It does not matter whether these two categories become effective in the competitive struggles of
the consumers or of the producers (p.274). The property owners are usually considered to be part
of the upper class, has privileged access to sources and have control over the market, whereas,
individuals who fall under lack of property are of the lower middle classes who provide work in
the labour market and it is mandatory that they follow societal rules by the ruling class. Weber did
not strongly believe that class led to the uniformity in social action. (Social Action)
Weber did not perceive class and status to be defined as one, he argued that status groups meant
communities. Status meant that any of the chances that were provided to an individual was
determined by status honor, this was the linkage to the type of life style an individual lived in.
(Provide a quotation on status honor). ** include the caste system**
Max Weber s main purpose of the theory goes on to explaining that, Class, Status, Party are what
make up the structure of our society. Political power is often based on class and status whereas
parties are perceived to be constructed by power. Weber argues that modern society was not only
dominated by the owners of capital but also by those with political power.
Furthermore, Karl Marx s theory of Manifesto of the Communist Party argues about social

Huckleberry Finn Loyalty Quotes
Loyalty is a common theme in the Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, written by Mark Twain. While
this theme is frequent throughout the novel, some occurrences of loyalty are not what one might
expect. Most cases of loyalty, however, are typical. Some instances of ordinary loyalty include
slaves being devoted to their masters, and con men being traitorous to pretty much everyone they
come across. Conflicts caused by clashing allegiances play a major role in the plot of the novelas
well as character development. The protagonist of the novel, Huck, struggles to decide between
two loyalties throughout the majority of the book: Miss Watson and Jim, Miss Watson s slave. Jim

These con men were allowed to stay on Huck s raft, running cons on a multitude of towns during
their journey. The King does not reciprocate this kindness to Huck and Jim. Instead, he decides
to sell Jim. The group arrive at a new town, and the King goes out to see if they have gotten news
of their Royal Nonesuch scam yet. The King doesn t come back, so Huck and the Duke go
looking for him. They eventually find him in a bar, and the King and Duke get into a fight.
Huck decides to run away and goes back to the raft to leave with Jim, but Jim isn t there. Huck
asks someone nearby if they say anyone take Jim, and he says a stranger sold him for $40. Huck
realizes that it was the King and confronts the Duke about it, Hain t he run off? No! That old fool
sold him, and never divided with me and the money s gone (Twain 216). This action alone shows
the King and Duke s disloyalty. Also, when they were talking, the Duke wasn t bothered with the
fact that Jim was sold, but rather that the King didn t split the money with him. Throughout the
novel, Jim teaches Huck about loyalty, and is then betrayed and sold. Huck goes from thinking of
Jim as a slave to thinking of him as a human. However, with the King and the Duke, Huck believes
they are cool at first, but by the end of the book he thinks

Relationships In The Turn Of The Twentieth Century
Once upon a time ... you know the story, were the prince goes to great lengths to rescue the

ever after. If only relationships were that simple, and not that sexist, how happy we all would be.
However, for those of us that live outside the world of fairy tales, we know how unrealistic this is.
In taking the time to look at real relationships, we see that they have many complexes; multiple
facets that make the relationship begin, continue and even end. Some would argue that
relationships are not intricate at all, but in reality, we have lost the value and meaning behind them
and so we make them more difficult. That the issue with relationships is... Show more content on

It was important that they taught them young, to shrink themselves, they need to learn that they
were less then men, in this man s world, and to recognize that they had a role to play. For many
women this was an issue, they couldn t enter the workforce for certain jobs (if at all), they couldn t
live alone, but most importantly it affected their relationships and marriages the most. Marriage
something that they were taught to strive for, something that was so romanticized even it was
tainted. Women in the 20th century, unlike modern women were not viewed as equals in a
relationship, and a clear indication of that that is seen in the literature of that time. In analyzing the
short story, The Yellow Wallpaper (Charlotte Perkins Gilman
), we see just how unequal women
were in relationships. As the wife , of John (interesting that she does not even have her own
name) she suffers from depression and depends on him. However, instead of treating her like a
sick wife John treats her more like a child, such as when she as when she tries to talk about her
condition and he tells her, bless her little heart (532). Here we see John, the husband of the
narrator, talking down to his wife. This is because he is a man he feels superior over her.
Women were not equal within the relationship and were often times treated as children. We also
she this equality as John will not allow his wife to decide were to sleep. Although it would have
been in her best interest to get out of the room that was filled with the yellow wallpaper , as a
man he believes that he knows what is best even when his wife tells him how she feels because
they are not equal he does not view her opinions or feels as being important. Although it is often

why modern

Disclosure And Roadkill On The Life s Highway Summary
In the story Closure and Roadkill on the Life s Highway , William Gay writes about a
heartbroken man who is lost in his own life, eventually finding himself again. Despite it seeming
like a regular story about a broken relationship, this story actually teaches many lessons. There
are color symbols, similes, and metaphors that help strengthen the reader s knowledge on how
the characters feel in the story. The power of greed and the power of time are lessons that can be
learned by reading Closure and Roadkill on the Life s Highway . To begin the story, Gay writes
that Raymer, the heartbroken man, feels amazed that . . . hearts could actually ache, actually break

You could get killed . . . I think you deserve the entire twenty thousand (Gay 185). This is another

she would never get any of the money. As the two men continue the search for the money,
Mayfield says to Raymer You know you re getting a kick out of it. I bet you ain t thought of your

Death in one s life time is unavoidable. In a way those effected by death, die themselves but
ultimately shed that part of their life to grow a new stronger and wiser layer in its place. Rudolfo
Anaya shows this perfectly in his novel Bless Me, Ultima, with the use of his character Antonio.
Anaya uses death as a catalyst to the solution for Antonio s frustrations on religion. Each death
showing significances to the plot and or on Tony because of how it caused him to questionhis
beliefs and the beliefs pressured on him. Death is one of the sole constant in this novel, it begins
and ends in death to where one can say Anaya interprets death to pioneer the resolution for Antonio

lonely business, but to fly in unbroken darkness without even the cold companionship of a pair
of earphones or the knowledge that somewhere ahead are lights and life and a well marked
airport is something more than just lonely. The experience of that something that is more than
just lonely appears to be the thing that she dislikes most about her job but she doesn t hesitate to
night fly if someone should require her assistance. She doesn t give any mind to the physical
danger that is a part of flying an airplane at night instead her only concern is whether or not she
will be bored. Clearly for Markham her greatest fear is not death but it is the experience of being
under stimulated. It is clear from her description of her job that countless times she has gone up
into that airplane anyways and faced her worst fear. In doing so Markham shows herself to be
someone who is willing to sacrifice herself to help someone

Differences Between The Plefuans And The Patricians
Today for your review, a discussion of the economic and political differences between the patricians
and the plebeians and an examination of the results of the first revolt.
According to Morey, (1901), in such an ironic conclusion, the plebeians had consolidated with
the patricians to overthrow the kings that were in power, and together were successful in this
affiliation. However, while the patricians were awarded lands and gained more power after the
kings were overthrown, there were disastrous results for the plebeians. There are many things that
lead to the revolt, first, while the plebeians had the right to vote, they could not hold a political
office, or sit in the Senate. The rule of the patricians proved to be as oppressive as the kingship
had and the struggle began in earnest between the two classes. Second to add insult to injury the
plebeians were even worse off monetarily.
Not only were there great economic hardships, but the human suffering was just as great, most of
the plebeians lived outside the city walls, with their home and families vulnerable, and while the
plebeian men were away serving their country, fighting in the war, their families were left
unprotected and many had suffered greatly at the hands of ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

due to debt were released. The most significant result of this first secession was the appointment of

Essay On Louisiana Natural Resources
There are many different types of natural resources in Louisiana. Today I will talk about one of
the natural resources. Oil is a natural resource because it occurs naturally in nature. Oil isn t man
made. It is made from the long decay of the carbon and oxygen atoms in plants and animals. It is
also stored solar power. This is because of the sunlight used at the time animals and plants lived and
it uses the sun s energy.
Oil supplies thirty four percent of the world s energy needs. Oil is also a fossil fuel. This is because
it is extracted from built up organic material and fossils. Oil is mostly used as transportation fuel. It
is also found found in many other products like fertilizers, makeup, paints, and fabrics.
Companies measure oil in barrels. Barrels are equal to forty United States gallons or one hundred
fifty nine liters. The United States has the tenth largest oil ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

Fifty person of oil is used for gasoline. Forty percent is used for diesel fuel, heating oil, jet fuel,
and kerosene. Oil is important because according to google, it states it is the single biggest of

Ages, salt was so expensive it was sometimes referred to as white gold . Only 6% of the salt used
in the U.S. is used in food; another 17% is used for de icing streets and highways in the winter
months. Salt is all around us. Underground and on the earth s surface in the dried up residues of
ancient seas. Some salt has even arrived from outer space in meteors. But our biggest source of
salt is in our seas and oceans. With an average of 26 million tonnes per cubic kilometre, sea water
offers a seemingly inexhaustible supply which if extracted, would cover the world s total land
mass to a depth of 35

Deer Disease Vs Urbanization
The United States is an ecologically rich and diverse nation. Ever since the United States
became a country so many years ago, they have remained one of the places that everyone from
all over the world strives to make a living in. But what if in the future the United States couldn t
offer people the basic needs of life such as water, food, land, and clean air? Well that harsh reality
isn t too far away after all. Due to the increase in land and water usage in the United Statesit has
become a cesspool of urbanization and disease. Because of this the United States is quickly running
out of natural resources and shows no sign of stopping. The US Environmental Protection Agency

Because of the severity of the disease, many people have even speculated that the disease has even
made it to the West Coast (Dutbin). Along with speculating the path the disease will follow people
have also speculated how the disease will act once a deer or elk dies from it. A year or more later a
wild deer could graze around this same soil and contract the disease. Frighteningly, the bottom line
is, no one can pinpoint where the disease came from, where it s headed, or how it could
conceivably get there (Dutbin). This is why conservation is such an important topic. Deer hunting is
a staple for many families is the United States especially in the Midwest. That is why hunters and
landowners can t stress enough the importance of maintaining and protecting the land that they hold
so dear to their hearts. Its because of this that many wildlife enthusiasts have turned to many
different governments to get tips and tricks when it comes maintaining the landing the resources
that inhabit that land. One of the countries that they have turned to is the UK. Although the UK are
taking a different approach they are still helping with restorations of a species. The UK is helping
with the restoration and repopulation of the Baka Pygmy populations in the Congo Basin (Nelson).
The Baka Pygmy are an indigenous tribe that were driven out of there homeland due to the recent
movement in that area. What the UK is doing to combat this is repopulating different species such
as the African Civet and the African Buffalo back into that land hoping that these species would

There are various sources through which the developer can get fund to finance real estate
development.
2.2.1.Equity Capital
This is the fund realized from personal savings and family savings. It is usually low because of low
per capital income, unequal distribution of income and high population in each family unit
resulting in excessive consumption, low savings and low investment in Nigeria.
Since this equity capital is usually small, it is prudent for him to decide on a mixture of equity and
debt capital which will not only guarantee the highest expected return but also not impair the
viability of the development. A developer s
Ability to borrow will be enhanced by the size of equity capital at his disposal.
2.2.2.Direct Loans
These are the loans got directly from the various lenders such as banks and other financial
institutions for a specific period. They are classified according to their duration, short, medium and
long terms.
(a) Short Term Loans
The conventional method of raising funds for the acquisition of land and the subsequent
development of potential investment property over a two to three year period is by way of short
term finance. The traditional sources of short term finance are the commercial and merchant banks
as well as finance houses. The terms on which these loans are provided are usually very stringent
and the interests charged are usually on

Analysis Of The Supervisor s Claims About Jeanette Landis
In order to confirm that the supervisor s claims about Jeanette Landis are true, I would need to
discuss her performance, in regards to her sales, with the sales department or the department that is
in charge of this certain information. Even though Mr. White accuses Jeanette of not reaching her
sales goals, all the facts and data needto be reviewed in order to determine if the information
provided is accurate in terms of her performance. The human resource director cannot assume
anything, approach all situations with caution, and be unbiased when determining the best action to
take. When firing and employee, the human resource manager should be consistent and thorough
when investigating the claims in order to prevent a discrimination lawsuit (Dunn, 1991, p. 26).
Therefore, the sales records of Jeanette Landis need to be reviewed in order to determine if the
allegations present by Mr. White are accurate. When taking with the supervisor of the sales
department, I would wanta copy of Jeanette s sales as well as a few other employees sales records
in order to accurately compare the sales data information. The sales supervisor should give a
timeline for the data, so that I could fully comprehend her sales. For example, the supervisor needs
to give me some insight into how many months the sales records are for; whether it be two months
or six months. This information is critical because Mr. White claims that she has not meet her sales
goal in six months, so I would

Anne Bradstreet Influence
Anne was the first poet of America. Her writing style reflected things and events that occurred
during her lifetime. For her, writing poetry was an outlet for stress being that she was a Puritan
and they did not allow women to be educated. Anne Bradstreet s poems directly reflected her
emotions and how she processed the events around her. A lot of her poetryis sad and somber. Being
that she is a Puritan she has a lot of biblical references in her poems. In The Flesh and the Spirit
Anne takes these two objects and personifies them. She created an environment Where the Flesh
and the Spirit where two sisters arguing, Spirit says, Sisters are we, yea, twins we be, yet deadly
feud twixt thee and me; for one father are we not, thou by old Adam wast begot, (223) she tells the
sister that their feud has not been resolved. Flesh took interest with earthly things while Spirit
indulged in meditating and trying to get to heaven. Sprit mentions the old Adam part because the
Puritans thought that man lost to sin after the fall of old Adam but then man was redeemed when
Jesus was sacrificed.... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

how she went to sleep she woke up as her house were burning down. She cried but then after it

(232) because she notes that those were God s possessions and not hers. Though she says this at
the end of the poem she lets readers know that she has not reconciled with her loss of possessions.
Though it seems like she submitted to God, she stills feel sorrow because of her house burning
down. Though Bradstreet is a Puritan and she has not lost her faith it does revel that she does have
some emotion attachment to earthly things. It just makes her have to be active in her faith so that

The Woman Who Changed the Style of the World Essay
The term The Little Black Dress, the fragrance Chanel No. 5, the Chanel suit with its soft,

all. From our perspective, these aspects of modern fashion hardly seem revolutionary, but Coco
Chanel was a businesswoman who became successful by adopting fashion to the evolving role of
women in a rapidly changing wartime society; her vision that left a legacy which endures to this

Geothermal Energy And Natural Energy
Just beneath your feet, lies an unimaginable amount of heat. Water in the Earth collects into very
hot pools, known as geothermal reservoirs. Scientists have discovered that we can harness
energy from this natural heat source and use it for our benefit. Electricity, agriculture,
aquaculture are just the basic ways that geothermal energy is used. There are also many creative
and helpful uses for it, such as in spas or thawing ice on roads. So what exactly is geothermal
energy and how does it work? The project we have carried out answers these exact questions. This
energy source is one of great worth, especially in our modern day.
The word Geothermal literally means heat from the earth . The Earth has 4 levels: crust, mantle,
outer core, and inner core. The crust acts as an insulator for the immense heat coming from
below which is an efficient universal resource. The next section, the mantle, begins at a depth of
1250 miles and is only semi molten. The third down, the outer core, starts at 2500 miles and is
completely liquid. Finally, the inner core is solid and is made of nickel and iron. It starts at a
depth of 4,000 miles and is 9,000 degrees fahrenheit.
(This is a picture of a fumarole, one example of the earth s thermal power).
There are many natural sources on the Earth that show the heat and power within the Earth:
geysers, hot springs, fumaroles, along fault lines, volcanoes, and mud pots, and that s not all. All of
those are similar but they are all a different

A Strong, Democratic Stand Point, By Bernie Sanders
Through a strong, democratic stand point, Bernie Sanders has one of the strongest resolutions to
immigration. Being in a family of immigrants himself, Sanders understands a lot of viewpoints
from the immigrants. To solve these problems, Bernie has come up with an elaborate, six step
plan. This plan covers making it easier to get a visa, making it easier to bring your family when
you immigrate, and making equal and fair trade rights. This plan will be a major step towards
solving the task at hand. However there are in fact some opposing, credibility issues. Bernie s main
goal is to make it easier to attain visas, and become naturalized. Senator Sanders wants to help the

The base of this thriving economy is that we send enormous factories, and farms to other
countries. America takes advantage of the low prices that other countries will work for. America
fires their own strong workers, who want more money, for the cheap labor. In Guatemala, a little
over 60% of the population is living under the poverty line, and the other 40% isn t much over.
Poverty is no joke and a tragic issue that Bernie will fight to develop in not only America, but
Mexico, Central America, and China. In order to accomplish a change, laws need to be put in
place that will create more fair trade policies, and ways to make sure they are absolutely being
implemented. The tremendous amount of immigrants coming to America are coming for two
reasons, to escape poverty and escape a low quality of life. When in their own country, most of the
immigrants can t afford food every day, because of something that America has done to them. This
will be a major accomplishment to solve fair trade issues. An argument that goes along with fair
trade issues, is the exploitation of immigrants. When immigrants come here to get a better life, the
American companies that hire them, take advantage. America pays them less, and treats them
unfairly. Creating a reform to keep employers from abusing their workers will help to continue a
healthy flow of immigrants, and healthy working conditions. Sanders wants a safe

The Growth Of Early Los Angeles
To tell the story of the growth of early Los Angeles it is necessary to visit the culturally significant
union station in old downtown on Alameda street. The buildings owes it begging to the American
phenomenon of the railroad, the institution that allowed for American expansion into the modern
era and more specifically the growth of the west coast metropolis of Los Angelesthat prior was just
a small Spanish town. Just across the street from the Avila adobe, one of the first and oldest existing
Spanish settlements in L.A., lays Union station, a building that holds on to the city s Spanish roots
through Spanish mission style architecture. At the time of its erection, the building not only told
the story of the small Spanish town that Los Angeles was but also hinted at the industrial
metropolis that Los Angeles would be through the art decolanguage. Through the fine usage and
mixture of elements at a macro and micro scale, Union Station successfully mixes the two
languages of Art Deco modern and Spanish mission style to form a landmark that is a remnant of a
significant transitional period in LA s history. Just like many other U.S cities during the early 20th
century los angles experienced a period of unprecedented industrial growth and population increase
that followed. Furthermore there was the need for a transportation hub that would serve as a
common stop for vital transcontinental rail lines that supported the city s industry, which included

Advantages Of Rolling Bags For Nursing School
Best rolling bag for nursing students What are the best rolling bags for nursing students? To be
honest, nursing books are heavy and numerous. Although it might not be necessary to carry all
books along to school, there will surely be times when you must tote several of them at once.
Moreover, while on campus, you will probably do a lot of walking and it will not be easy toting
heavy books. Research shows, carrying heavy books in small back packs on a constant basis
can lead to long term back ache. I doubt if anyone will want to begin a nursing career with
prolong back pain issues. This unnecessary pain can simply be avoided by using the proper tote
bag. Although there are a lot of choices in tote bags for nursing student, not all bags are equal.
Thus, when purchasing a rolling bag for nursing school, functionality should be the first thing to
consider. You should ask yourself the following questions; will the bag hold a reasonable number
of books? is there enough space for other stuffs such as laptops, tablets and nursing materials? You
really need to consider these questions because most rolling bags available in the market do not
have enough space to hold laptops and tablets. In addition, you must check if there are side pockets
and areas of storage for extras such as keys, smartphones and water bottles. Another important
quality to watch out for is durability. Some more things to think about. Is the bag made of high
quality material that will serve you throughout

Liposuction Paper
Liposuction is one of the most significant and improved areas of dermatologic surgery. It is done
as an aesthetic method in order to remove fat deposits in patients leading to the prevention of fat
buildup or lipodystrophy and enhancement of body shape and structure (Franco et al., 2012). Aside
from cosmetic purposes, liposuction is also performed for the treatment of specific medical
conditions (Healthwise Staff, 2015). Liposuction entails the insertion of small, thin tubes or cannula
through minute skin incisions. Fat is sucked out through the cannula as the surgeon operates the
tubes around and under the skin for the effective removal of fat deposits (Healthwise Staff, 2015).

Informed consent forms are necessary in order to uphold the patient s right of decision making and

booklets and brochures which adequately explain the health benefits and risks of such procedures
to their patients (Zuckerman Abraham, 2008). One can sue a health practitioner for medical
malpractice if he or she failed to establish an effective communication with his or her patient and

Conflict between a character s intense passions and their moral duties is commonly expressed in

Hardy creates two characters who are undeniably in love, however, they are forced to hide their

Environmental And Environmental Issues During The...
Environmental Issues and the Industrial Revolution
The Industrial Revolution took pace from the 18th to 19th centuries. It was a period when rural
areas became industrial and urban. Before the Industrial Revolution, engineering was mainly
done in people s homes. They used hand tools and sometimes basic machines. Industrialization
put an end to that, using powered, advanced machinery, factories and mass production. This
made engineering much faster, easier and more efficient. It even increased the amount of factory
made goods, as well as the variety of them. Industrialization improved the living conditions for
people in the middle and upper classes. The poor and working classes had to do the dangerous
jobs, for a very low amount of pay, while working in harmful conditions. So many people from the
rural areas were moving to the urban areas for work, that they couldn t keep up. This caused
overpopulation. Homes were overcrowded, and people were living in polluted and unsanitary
conditions, which made them more at risk of diseases. Pollution is one of the most environmentally
negative impacts of the Industrial Revolution. Air, water, and soil pollution were extremely bad
during the Industrial Revolution. Industrialization polluted the air, water and soils due to the waste
products that factories generate. Most factories and industries require water for their work. When
water is involved in these processes, it encounters metals, chemicals, and wastes, that will
contaminate it. They are then dumped into oceans and rivers. Doing so, kills fish and other sea
animals, decreasing the population. Farmers us this water to grow their crops. Using contaminated
water then affects the quality of their crops. When the farmers use the water in their soil, it can
cause soil pollution. This pollution will destroy plants if anything or anyone comes in contact with
it, it can cause long lasting health issues. Air pollution can cause a variety of illnesses for people
and the environment. With all of these pollutions, there comes an increase in global warming.
Global warming causes glaciers to melt, extinction of animals, floods, tsunamis and hurricanes,
which are some of the deadliest natural phenomena. If any of these phenomena

Rap Hop And Hip Hop Culture
Most hip hop songs and videos have lyrics and scenes that demean and humiliate women.
Showing scenes of violence to women, demeaning them and depicting them as sex objects or
subjects of submission to men is Misogyny. Present also is brutality against women descriptions.
There have been voluminous scholars talking about it yet the argument is unquenched. Misogyny
in hip hop society has its core deep in the American ethos, and it has its outcome on the same
nation. Misogyny in songs is taking ring on young persons, and it is swiftly touching the young
females in the black civilization. The effects of Misogyny in hip hop culture, losses weight with
as the age of listener s advances. Misogyny in hip hop culture is not something that is ending, yet
it may fade with time. The chances of it fading are not certain but with the current trend, hip hop
artists may realize it does not do much good as bad. This essay will discuss the power following
Misogyny in hip hop culture, the outcomes it has on the audience and the future of Misogyny in hip
hop. McFarland 2003 argues that the origin of Misogyny in music, not only in hip hop is the
society and culture it has for so long endeared. Normally, people in America have valued the boy

For Jack Merridew, these sounds are nothing compared to Sergeant Crosby s stentorian wake up call. Every morning at five o clock, Jack would start the day making his bed, putting on his uniform, eating breakfast, and heading out for his daily drills. Being in the military has always been something Jack was set on doing. He worked hard to get into the Royal Military Academy in Camberley. So when he got accepted, he felt competent. Sergeant Crosby was right. Although Jack loved being in the military, he was just having a hard time at the moment. Jack heads out to the buzzing streets with a cup of coffee in his hands. Indirect Murder Cases While many thousands of murder cases go unsolved every year, it is a probable assumption that the general public would most likely only be able to name all they knew on one hand. In no particular order, the top three reoccurring would most likely be: the 1994 murder of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman (estranged ex husband Orenthal James Simpson), the 2008 murderof Caylee Anthony (mother Casey Anthony), and the 1996 murder of JonBenet Ramsey (Patsy, John, and Burke Ramsey). As all of these are high profile cold cases, all of them have thoroughly investigated not only by local investigators but also through the public eye, yet no charges have been filed against any party. Two of the three cases show blatant similarities one is that two of the three happened within the first six years of life (Caylee Anthony and JonBenet Ramsey), and in these cases the mothers were investigated more than any other possible suspect. • 11. Attitude And Death Of Ancient Greece Attitude to Death. Greek Background: Ancient Greece was a civilization that existed from the 8th 6th Century BC, also called the Archaic Period, to the end of antiquity, around 600 AD. It is most famous for its philosophers, artwork and mythology. They worshiped their deities such as Zeus, Hades and Poseidon.... Their major demise came at the hands of the Macedonians in 338 BC after Greece had been weakened by the Peloponnesian War. A war between the Spartans and the Athenians leaving the Spartans victorious but exhausted of their resources and men. Attitude to Dying: Death for the Greeks was not such a simple process. Seeing as they believed so firmly in the afterlife death was not really feared, rather life was cherished. As shown by this quote. I d rather be a day laborer on earth working for a man of little property than lord of all the hosts of the dead. Achilles in the Iliad. Upon death the psyche or soul left the body as a little breath or puff of wind. The body would then undergo a time honored burial ritual. The ritual was split into two parts. The prothesis, the laying out of the body. The ekphora, the funeral procession. And the interment of the body or cremated remains of the deceased. Conflicts caused by clashing allegiances play a major role in the plot of the novelas well as character development. Women in the 20th century, unlike modern women were not viewed as equals in a relationship, and a clear indication of that that is seen in the literature of that time. According to Morey, (1901), in such an ironic conclusion, the plebeians had consolidated with the patricians to overthrow the kings that were in power, and together were successful in this affiliation. However, while the patricians were awarded lands and gained more power after the kings were overthrown, there were disastrous results for the plebeians. There are many things that lead to the revolt, first, while the plebeians had the right to vote, they could not hold a political office, or sit in the Senate. The rule of the patricians proved to be as oppressive as the kingship had and the struggle began in earnest between the two classes. Second to add insult to injury the plebeians were even worse off monetarily. Not only were there great economic hardships, but the human suffering was just as great, most of the plebeians lived outside the city walls, with their home and families vulnerable, and while the plebeian men were away serving their country, fighting in the war, their families were left unprotected and many had suffered greatly at the hands of ... Scientists have discovered that we can harness energy from this natural heat source and use it for our benefit. Electricity, agriculture, aquaculture are just the basic ways that geothermal energy is used. There are also many creative and helpful uses for it, such as in spas or thawing ice on roads. So what exactly is geothermal energy and how does it work? The project we have carried out answers these exact questions. This energy source is one of great worth, especially in our modern day. The word Geothermal literally means heat from the earth . The Earth has 4 levels: crust, mantle, outer core, and inner core. The crust acts as an insulator for the immense heat coming from below which is an efficient universal resource. The next section, the mantle, begins at a depth of 1250 miles and is only semi molten. The third down, the outer core, starts at 2500 miles and is completely liquid. Finally, the inner core is solid and is made of nickel and iron. It starts at a depth of 4,000 miles and is 9,000 degrees fahrenheit. (This is a picture of a fumarole, one example of the earth s thermal power). In order to accomplish a change, laws need to be put in place that will create more fair trade policies, and ways to make sure they are absolutely being implemented. The tremendous amount of immigrants coming to America are coming for two reasons, to escape poverty and escape a low quality of life. When in their own country, most of the immigrants can t afford food every day, because of something that America has done to them. This will be a major accomplishment to solve fair trade issues. An argument that goes along with fair trade issues, is the exploitation of immigrants. When immigrants come here to get a better life, the American companies that hire them, take advantage. America pays them less, and treats them unfairly. Creating a reform to keep employers from abusing their workers will help to continue a healthy flow of immigrants, and healthy working conditions. • 33. The Growth Of Early Los Angeles To tell the story of the growth of early Los Angeles it is necessary to visit the culturally significant union station in old downtown on Alameda street. The buildings owes it begging to the American phenomenon of the railroad, the institution that allowed for American expansion into the modern era and more specifically the growth of the west coast metropolis of Los Angelesthat prior was just a small Spanish town. Just across the street from the Avila adobe, one of the first and oldest existing Spanish settlements in L.A., lays Union station, a building that holds on to the city s Spanish roots through Spanish mission style architecture. At the time of its erection, the building not only told the story of the small Spanish town that Los Angeles was but also hinted at the industrial metropolis that Los Angeles would be through the art decolanguage. Through the fine usage and mixture of elements at a macro and micro scale, Union Station successfully mixes the two languages of Art Deco modern and Spanish mission style to form a landmark that is a remnant of a significant transitional period in LA s history. Just like many other U.S cities during the early 20th century los angles experienced a period of unprecedented industrial growth and population increase that followed. Furthermore there was the need for a transportation hub that would serve as a common stop for vital transcontinental rail lines that supported the city s industry, which included the Union Pacific ... Cupid s bow lips that I m well acquainted with but yet, never shared an innocent kiss of hello or goodbye. Triangular cheekbones, and an upturned nose, that would give prominence in light and shadow shown on a black and white photograph; perky alert tits, firm tight buttocks, a vagina that opens like a rhododendron flower; skin so pale almost seemed prosthetic; jet black hair darker than a raven s feather, and an anus quaint and clean like a fossilized Tetracoralla on a Petoskey stone: Ultimately, all these amenities did not provide her with the perfection of angelic beauty but more the imperfection in sex appeal, as she stretched languorously, naked on black velvet covers, bored out of her silly little skull and yet, comfortable in salacious surroundings. It is done as an aesthetic method in order to remove fat deposits in patients leading to the prevention of fat buildup or lipodystrophy and enhancement of body shape and structure (Franco et al., 2012). Aside from cosmetic purposes, liposuction is also performed for the treatment of specific medical conditions (Healthwise Staff, 2015). Liposuction entails the insertion of small, thin tubes or cannula through minute skin incisions. • 39. Environmental And Environmental Issues During The... Environmental Issues and the Industrial Revolution The Industrial Revolution took pace from the 18th to 19th centuries. It was a period when rural areas became industrial and urban. Before the Industrial Revolution, engineering was mainly done in people s homes. They used hand tools and sometimes basic machines. Industrialization put an end to that, using powered, advanced machinery, factories and mass production. This made engineering much faster, easier and more efficient. It even increased the amount of factory made goods, as well as the variety of them. Industrialization improved the living conditions for people in the middle and upper classes. The poor and working classes had to do the dangerous jobs, for a very low amount of pay, while working in harmful conditions. So many people from the rural areas were moving to the urban areas for work, that they couldn t keep up. This caused overpopulation. Homes were overcrowded, and people were living in polluted and unsanitary conditions, which made them more at risk of diseases. Pollution is one of the most environmentally negative impacts of the Industrial Revolution. Air, water, and soil pollution were extremely bad during the Industrial Revolution. Industrialization polluted the air, water and soils due to the waste products that factories generate. Most factories and industries require water for their work. When water is involved in these processes, it encounters metals, chemicals, and wastes, that will contaminate it. They are then dumped into oceans and rivers. Doing so, kills fish and other sea animals, decreasing the population. Farmers us this water to grow their crops. Using contaminated water then affects the quality of their crops. When the farmers use the water in their soil, it can cause soil pollution. This pollution will destroy plants if anything or anyone comes in contact with it, it can cause long lasting health issues. Air pollution can cause a variety of illnesses for people and the environment. With all of these pollutions, there comes an increase in global warming. Global warming causes glaciers to melt, extinction of animals, floods, tsunamis and hurricanes, which are some of the deadliest natural phenomena. If any of these phenomena ... • 40. Rap Hop And Hip Hop Culture Most hip hop songs and videos have lyrics and scenes that demean and humiliate women. Showing scenes of violence to women, demeaning them and depicting them as sex objects or subjects of submission to men is Misogyny. Present also is brutality against women descriptions. There have been voluminous scholars talking about it yet the argument is unquenched. Misogyny in hip hop society has its core deep in the American ethos, and it has its outcome on the same nation. Misogyny in songs is taking ring on young persons, and it is swiftly touching the young females in the black civilization. The effects of Misogyny in hip hop culture, losses weight with as the age of listener s advances. Misogyny in hip hop culture is not something that is ending, yet it may fade with time. The chances of it fading are not certain but with the current trend, hip hop artists may realize it does not do much good as bad. This essay will discuss the power following Misogyny in hip hop culture, the outcomes it has on the audience and the future of Misogyny in hip hop. McFarland 2003 argues that the origin of Misogyny in music, not only in hip hop is the society and culture it has for so long endeared. Normally, people in America have valued the boy child, to endowing men as adults (McFarland, 102). At the same time, they have considered women as subjects to men who should show total submission. This argument has found many backups, with scholars and authors arguing that the American culture is the force ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
