The lesson was focused on learning the beat and rhythm. Beat is the basic unit of
time, the pulse, of the mensural level (World ebook library, 2016). The beat is
constant and repetitive, for example, the heartbeat or a clock movement noise. On the
other hand, rhythm consists of the pattern that is a mixture of sound and silence.
Our Art professor highlights the focus of this course with three main Performing
Arts: Music, Drama, and Dance. Every Arts teacher requires pedagogical approach
in order to make learning art effective. Fiona introduces to us 2 ways as strategies
to draw a better picture for students to understand Beat and Rhythm better, which
are: Body Percussion and Instrumental composition. In music, Body Percussion
[Figure 1] refers to using oneself body as an instrument. One s can hit on their chest
and make a boom sound, or tap on their legs, or flick their fingers to make a snap
etc... A teacher could introduce their students to a 4/4 beat by using Body Percussion

World War I introduced the American military to the modern industrial war. The
conflict with Mexico in 1914 gave the U.S an opportunity to try new technology

Analysis Of The Film Bourne Ultimatum
In the film Bourne Ultimatum, the above link is a chase sequence. Personally, I
felt this film wasn t terrible, but there were bad sequences, especially the sequence
I analyzed. This whole movie had shaky hand held shots, specifically in the
sequence I analyzed. I understand war movies, and action movies are allowed to
use shaky hand held shots, but it was shaky the entire sequence, and it wasn t
necessary for certain shots. Along with that, there were a few composition shots
but everything else was sloppy and shots were edited terribly. The beginning
started outside in the daylight, cloudy day, on what seemed to be a very busy
street with honking of cars and a medium shot of a taxi cab. Dramatic music starts
as we are introduced to the first character by using a hand held shot following this
character, but it has way to many quick cuts in between that we can t get a sense of
what the character s face actually looks like. It cuts to a medium shot of that
character wearing a black coat, to a rapid pan down shot of a building to a close up
shot of the character s side face. This would have been better if it were a direct
over the shoulder pan down or up of the actor looking at a building. Then it cuts to
that character s reflection looking at writing on a door, with a close up and quick
pan, that was not even a pan, it was a quick cut that was unessary, instead the camera

The use of illusion to hide reality plays a heavy role in William Shakespeare s
Othello . Illusion is used frequently throughout the play in relation to love, friendship
and character personalities. Some characters, especially Othello, cannot see through
the illusion and assume what they see as reality. Iago, however, uses this to his
advantage by creating multiple illusions to manipulate the other characters for power
and revenge.
Iago is seen by most of the characters as an honest and trustworthy man who is
always willing to listen and give advice. Cassio, one of the characters who is
fooled by the illusionary personality Iago has created, says I never knew/ a
Florentine more kind and honest (III.i.38 39). The audience however knows that this
