The European Satellite Navigation Competition (ESNC) promotes the development and use of Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) technologies like Galileo. It supports startups and SMEs working on new GNSS applications through matchmaking and funding prizes. The competition is open to developers, entrepreneurs, researchers and students. It provides over 1 million euros in prizes each year and has supported over 1,200 GNSS application ideas from 44 countries since 2004. The top winner is awarded the Galileo Master title at an annual ceremony attended by hundreds of international guests.
