This document provides instructions for an assignment to create a 15-20 minute mini-lesson in reading comprehension for a small group of 3rd grade students with various learning disabilities and reading levels. It describes the four students in the group and their specific challenges. Students are asked to develop their mini-lesson using a strategy from the textbook, plan accommodations for each learner, and respond to two reflection questions. Peers will provide feedback on two areas of the mini-lesson.
