Philosophy
I decided to go into the field of Exercise Science because I have been around sports my
entire life. Being a three sport athlete in high school, I knew a lot about different injuries that
are related to sports. From ankle sprains and torn ACLs to a broken leg, fingers, and other bone
problems, Freedom had it all. No matter what the athletic trainers and coaches do to
strengthen their player’s bodies, some athletes don’t take it seriously and end up getting
injured. I want to be that person that motivates athletes to WANT to strengthen their body and
condition them to be a stronger player. A strength and conditioning coach is what every school
needs. Student athletes are getting injured more often now than years ago. A strength coach
could get these athletes stronger and faster in their sports. I want to be the one that athletic
trainers and coaches recommend to their athletes. I want to make a difference in these young
athlete’s lives so that they are strong and conditioned to play at the next level.
