Also, in charge of drawing up lifting/loading diagrams for when there was a heavy lift or

Summary: Supervise all operations of the vessel. Maintain that cargo and containers were
handled and discharged/loaded in a safe and correct manner. Oversaw all work labor and
that each individual adhered to his/her job description. Worked with the captain and
mates on the vessel to verify manifest and cargo placement on the vessel. Responsible for
all workers using safety procedures while on the payroll. Work the vessel in the most
cost effective manner for the customer and Ceres. Work with surveyor when lifting out
of gauge cargo.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
• Hand deliver dangerous goods manifest to the captain before start of operations so
we both can review it and address any issues that may arise.
• When working as planner sequence cargo as when and where it be loaded onto the
vessel and when and where it will be discharged off the vessel.
• Submit payroll for all labor.
• Troubleshoot problems when they arise. I.E. cargo arriving late or not at all, cargo
mislabeled, or incorrect UN number.
• Work with the customer’s planners so that all cargo is placed in the correct position
so no DG issues occur.
• Address any labor issues. I.E. refusal to work, safety infractions, damage to
equipment or cargo.
• If employee is injured while on the payroll send them to receive medical attention
or call authorities if to severe. Also, set them up with HR to begin workmans comp
procedure.
• Work with POHA when verifying cargo locations located within the port facilities..
• When damages or spills occur secure the area and notify management and hazmat
response team if it is severe or dangerous cargo.
• Knowledgeable in SPARCS.

Summary: Assemble and disassemble valves as necessary for production or
repairs. Replace damaged parts on valves that are in for repair or maintenance. Execute
testing on valves to ensure they are safe and perform up to A.P.I. standards. Ensure that
all valves, which personally worked on, are signed off on at every checkpoint and
documented accordingly. If any issues should occur with valve or parts relay info to
procurement or salesman immediately. Have experience with ball valves, gate valves,
plug valves, and piston valves.

cook was off.

● To load and unload product on the barges, normally #6 crude oil.
