 Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd (MAHB) is in the midst of discussions and scrutiny in its preparation to answer

 Malaysia’s Industrial Production Index (IPI) increased 5.0 per cent in October 2014 compared with the same
month in the previous year. The rise was attributed to positive growth in all indices, namely manufacturing,
mining and electricity, which grew 3.0 per cent, 11.5 per cent and 3.4 per cent, respectively.” In seasonally
adjusted terms, the October 2014 IPI increased 0.6 per cent on a monthly basis due to a 3.9 per cent increase
in the mining index.
 Total approved manufacturing investments in the third quarter slowed to 27.5 per cent, year-on-year, (y-o-y) to
RM16.1 billion, after growing at a sharp pace of 182.1 per cent to RM30.3 billion in the second quarter, says
RHB Research House. This was reflected in a slowdown in both domestic and foreign manufacturing
investment approvals in third quarter, it said in a research note.
 Felda Global Ventures Holdings Bhd (FGV) is set to mark a new foray into China by collaborating with
Shenzhen Agricultural Products Co Ltd (SZAP), an agri-business trading company in China. SZAP specialises
in the business of e-commerce and supply chain services in agricultural products based in Shenzen. The
strategic partnership with SZAP is to jointly explore the business opportunities in various commodities,
including rubber and palm oil.
