Atayurt schools in Turkey has several environmental responsibility programs including collecting bottle caps for four years to help disabled people, participating in international tree planting events by planting 10,000 trees annually in their memorial forest, attending walks to promote city cleanliness, and collecting waste batteries for recycling.

CAPS PROJECT
 This project actually helps
disabled people to get wheelchairs
and helps to get rid of some
plastics. Our school has been
helping this project for nearly four
years.

5. ENO Tree Planting Day
 ENO Tree Planting Day is activity
about nature and peace. It’s centered
in Finland and founded in 2004. It’s
purpose is to plant 100 million trees
until 2017.
 We have attened this international
activity and had our certificate
proudly.

6. ATAYURT MEMORIAL
FOREST
Our school has been planting trees (about
10.000 trees a year) and growing it’s
Memorial forest for years.

7. ECO Schools Walk
 Our school’s students, teachers and baliuses
attended a walk about Sensibility on Cleanliness of
Our City which was organized by Tepebaşı
Municipality, Anadolu University and ECO Schools
group all together.

8. Collecting Waste Batteries
 Our school has collected waste batteries and gave
them to the metropolitan municipality.
