 Kiran Kumar is the chairman and managing director of
one of the highest jewelry selling.
 stores Lalitha Jewellery, a brand name in the Jewellery
section.
 Kiran Kumar was born in Nellore and he began his career
in Chennai.
 He was born into a middle-class family and started his
Gold business by selling his mother’s gold bangle.
 He launched the first Lalitha Jewellery Showroom in
Chennai in 1983 and later that year Kiran Kumar started
expanding his business in south India.

 He opened showrooms in Tirupati, Chennai and in Hyderabad,
the Lalitha Jewellery Showrooms have become a brand and
people trust this company to deliver quality gold at stellar prices.
 Lalitha jewelry is quickly drawing the attention of the people.
 As of now, there are 15 branches of Lalitha Jewellery
Showrooms all across India.
 Kiran Kumar is very often seen in TVs giving Ads for the gold.
 kiran Kumar in a recent interview said “At age seven, I had
struggled for a decent meal at home.

 I joined the jewelry trade as a child worker.
 Formal education was out of the question.
 The experience of a tough life turned out to be my teacher.
 This is why I am able to understand the hardships of a common
man better than most other jewelers.
 Lalita Jewelers started with a back-to-back entrepreneurial
perspective.
 Before starting this M. Kiran Kumar had over 20 years of
experience in Bullion Parish.
 Kiran Kumar did not study much.

IMPROVEMENTS:
 As a child began to struggle with the problem.
 It is said that his lack of education is also a plus for him.
 Gold trade is very popular in Nellore.
 He said that Nellore’s gold traders were once well-known in
South India.
 He said that after two and a half years of working together, he
learned the art of making gold jewelry.
 Last year Lalitha Jewellers turn over Rs. 11,000 crores and this
year it might be Rs. 15,000 crores, approximately.
 In a recent interview, Kiran said his target for 2020 is Rs 5000
crore.
FREEOF WASTAGECOST:
 The first Lalitha Jewellers showroom was launched in 1985
andStarted in Chennai.
 And Lalitha Jewellers designers are from Mumbai, Kolkata,
Rajkot, Kerala and Coimbatore areas.
 In gold shops in Usual there is 1 to 8% and sometimes 9%
wastage and here there is none of this and there is no even
making charges.
 The reputed individual also shocked the host by saying that he
didn’t how to read or write.

huge business, what is the way you opt to feel relaxed ?” asked
Raja to which Kiran Kumar replied asking back “Why you
should take tension ? One should give tension to others but not
receive.
 We will die sooner if we get tensed often.
 We have 40 hops now, let’s make it 400” he casually said.

INTRODUCTION:  Kiran Kumar is the chairman and managing director of one of the highest jewelry selling.  stores Lalitha Jewellery, a brand name in the Jewellery section.  Kiran Kumar was born in Nellore and he began his career in Chennai.  He was born into a middle-class family and started his Gold business by selling his mother’s gold bangle.  He launched the first Lalitha Jewellery Showroom in Chennai in 1983 and later that year Kiran Kumar started expanding his business in south India.
