Dear Dr. Kornbluth and Mr. Gorenberg,
The US House of Representatives is deeply concerned by ongoing and pervasive acts of antisemitic
harassment and intimidation at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Failing to act decisively to ensure a safe learning environment for all students would be a grave dereliction of your responsibilities as President of MIT and Chair of the MIT Corporation.
This Congress will not stand idly by and allow an environment hostile to Jewish students to persist. The House believes that your institution is in violation of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act, and the inability or
unwillingness to rectify this violation through action requires accountability.
Postsecondary education is a unique opportunity for students to learn and have their ideas and beliefs challenged. However, universities receiving hundreds of millions of federal funds annually have denied
students that opportunity and have been hijacked to become venues for the promotion of terrorism, antisemitic harassment and intimidation, unlawful encampments, and in some cases, assaults and riots.
The House of Representatives will not countenance the use of federal funds to indoctrinate students into hateful, antisemitic, anti-American supporters of terrorism. Investigations into campus antisemitism by the Committee on Education and the Workforce and the Committee on Ways and Means have been expanded into a Congress-wide probe across all relevant jurisdictions to address this national crisis. The undersigned Committees will conduct oversight into the use of federal funds at MIT and its learning environment under authorities granted to each Committee.
• The Committee on Education and the Workforce has been investigating your institution since December 7, 2023. The Committee has broad jurisdiction over postsecondary education, including its compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act, campus safety concerns over disruptions to the learning environment, and the awarding of federal student aid under the Higher Education Act.
• The Committee on Oversight and Accountability is investigating the sources of funding and other support flowing to groups espousing pro-Hamas propaganda and engaged in antisemitic harassment and intimidation of students. Reason for doing the project :
Because of learning English from the project is the most
interesting and important for us and I think for all students .
It’s the best way if we can apply our English and the other
subjects altogether . Because of we have invented the orchid
flower since we studied in Prathomsuksa 6 . It’s very beautiful
and we love our invention very much . And we think it’s well
if we can present both the materials and the directions into
English language . So we decided to do the English Project
work of “ Invention Orchid from Lotus Fiber Cloth ” . Unless
we can invent and promote the invention then we can develop
our English language skills all over listening , speaking , reading
and writing . Moreover we can get the useful experience to

Directions :
1. Bring the stump to bore a hole and paint with the
lacquer.
2. Bench each wire with the big pipe and the small pipe
to make the petals for this .
3. Bench each wire to make the leaves .
4. Bench each wire with the small branch of tree then
bench with the small pipes to make the inside of
flowers.
5. Cover the big and the small wires to make the petals
and make for 40 big petals and 60 small
6. Cover white lotus fiber cloth to make the inside of
flowers.
7. Cover green lotus fiber cloth to make the leaves
8. Bind the pollen with the inside of flower . Make for 30
pieces .
9. Bind 2 big petals , 3 small petals and the inside of
flower altogether and coil it with the flora tape around
the stem .
10. Bring the flowers to bind the big bunch and coil the
flora tape around the big bunch .
11. Bring the big bunch into the hole of the stump and
shooting the glue to stick it . Make until finished .
12. Decorate by using leaves , dry grass , dry fern or dry
moss , little birds .
13. Finished for invention and bring them to show or sell.

Problems and how to solve the problems :
1. We don’t know about the meaning of some vocabularies or slang .
2. The presentation of the project in English language.
3. We shy to present the project .
How to solve the problems :
1. We find the meaning of the vocabularies from the Dictionary both Thai
and English and discuss with our English teacher about the correct meaning.
2. We find the word from the computer and discuss with our English
teacher.
3. Practice about the presentation in English language in every time both
in the classroom and in t he meeting room and lets ‘s the teachers and
our friends give advice.

invention . Moreover we can presentation about doing this project into English

get useful experience to apply in our daily lives .
