This document provides a comparison of the films Men in Black and Kingsman: The Secret Service. It notes that both films focus on non-government agencies monitoring Earth. releasedin29 January2015. Thisisthe firstfilmforKingsmenThe SecretService.MenInBlackis a
sci-fi,comedyandalsoanaction film.Meninblackstartedin 1997 as the first(MiB) movie andnow
there are 2 othersequels,totallingupto3 seriesascomparedto Kingsmenwhichdoesnothave any
othersequels.The ratingsforKingsmenthisyearishigherthanMenIn Black.I will compare the
similaritiesandalsothe difference aboutKingsmenandalsoMenIn Black.
Men In Blackhad 3 seriesandall three seriesof these movieswere playedbyWill Smithand
alsoTommyLee Jones.Bothhadwork togethersince the firstfilmat1997. Barry Sonnenfieldhad
directedall the seriesof MenInBlack. Itwas a successful seriesasthe box office hadearned$589.4
millionforthe firstMenInBlack film.The vastamountof differencesthroughoutthe yearsshows
that Men InBlack got popularandthe demandfromfansincreasedbyyears.Thus,actorsin the later
yearswere alsogivenahighersalaryas the movieswere givenahigherrating.
Kingsmenisthe secondaction comedymovie whichwasdirectedbyMatthew Vaughn.This
movie wasstarredby a fewfamousactors,Samuel L.Jacksonand Mark Strong.Thismovie isa
successhowever,the movie earnedslightlylesserthanMenIn Blackand had earned$412.1 million
for the firstKingsmenfilm.Thismovie wasreleasedrecentlythisyearduringJanuary,itwasalso
distributedby20thCenturyFox.
The Men In Black serieswasalsofamousfortheirgadgets,carsand theirflyingjetpack,
Carbonizers,CosmicIntegrator,De-Atomizer,all theseitemsare famousgadgetsusedinthe series
of MenIn Black.It is seenclearlyasthe technologyof gunshadimprovedthroughoutthe series.In
the movie Kingsmen,theyusednormal gunswhichare foragents,theyalsohave special gadgets,
example shoeswithpoisonknife,lighterasgrenade andmanymore.AlthoughKingsmentechnology
isnot as futuristic,bothof these movieshave usedspecial gadgets.
The similaritiesforbothof the moviesisthatthe agentsin bothof the movieswearsuits
whentheyare doingtheirjob.Theirstoryline isalsosimilar.Itisshownasfor Men In Black,AgentK
and hispartnerAgentD whomisolderinage, useda neuralysertoerase hismemoryforhisentire
life sothat he can alsolive ina peaceful life. AgentKthenfounda replacementwhichisacop isNew
York Police Department(NYPD)calledJamesEdwards,he thentrainedhimandaskhimto go for
training,AgentKthenfoundoutthat he had a talentand fulfilledthe criteriatobe one of the

becomesthe nuisance toJ.For Kingsmen,Eggsyhadtochoose a dogto be theirpartnerthroughout
the training,the pughas beenEggsy’sbestfriendsince histrainingstarted.Inthe endof the training,
ArthurcalledEggsyto shoothis dogto complete histrainingtobecome the Lancelot.However,he
didn’tshoothisdogand he faileditthinkingthatthe gunwas filled.
Men In Blackand Kingsmenare bothaction-packedandfunnymovies.Mostof the spy
movieshave similarstorylines.Fansforspymovieshasbeenincreasingthroughthe years.Infact,
the spy movieshasgottenstrongerwithheirgadgetsand.A sequel forKingsmenwill be outsoon.I
hope that the storyline will be interestingandwill keepme onthe edge of myseat.
