INTRODUCTION
 Employability skills are the skills you have developed
inside and outside of school that you can transfer to the
workplace
 Knowledge and abilities relating to a particular job
 The ability to identify suitable job opportunities and
self presentation for applications and interviews.
DEFINATION
 Employability Skills can be defined as the
transferable skills needed by an individual to make them
'employable'. Along with good technical understanding
and subject knowledge, employers often outline a set
of skills that they want from an employee.
BENEFITS
 A set of achievements – skills, understandings and
personal attributes – that makes graduates more likely to
gain employment and be successful in their chosen
occupations, which benefits themselves, the workforce,
the community and the economy.
SIGNIFICANCE
 Employability skills are sometimes called
foundational skills or job-readiness skills. They are
soft skills that allow you to work well with others, apply
knowledge to solve problems and fit into any work
environment.
 They also include the professional skills that enable you
to be successful in the workplace.
AIMS
 The aim of the employability was to identify
 which competences are obtained by nursing care
graduates during their study and what was their self-
evaluation in the last study year, to investigate which
competences are expected by employers and to establish
the connection between competence self-evaluation and
study efficiency
EMPLOYABILITY PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES
 A positive attitude: a 'can do' approach, good work ethic
and willingness to learn. Good personal presentation.

 Strategic planning is the process of setting a
vision for a company and then realizing that
vision through small, achievable goals.
 People who work in strategic planning help
set goals, decide what actions need to be
taken by employees, and help employees
achieve those goals.

 Entrepreneurship is 'an individual's ability
to turn ideas into action. It includes creativity,
innovation and risk-taking, as well as the
ability to plan and manage projects in order

our ability to solve problems in an effective
and timely manner without any impediments.
 It involves being able to identify
and define the problem, generating
alternative solutions, evaluating and selecting
the best alternative, and implementing the

numerical evidence systematically. They can
include anything from the ability to design
surveys or experiments to assess and

knowledge needed to perform specific tasks.
 They are practical, and often relate to
mechanical, information technology,

 Organizational skills are skills you use to
organize your workload, manage time and
resources, and schedule and prioritize
projects.

 Teamwork is generally understood as the
willingness of a group of people to work
together to achieve a common aim. For
example we often use the phrase:” he or she
is a good team player”.

CONCLUSION
 In conclusion,nursing is a field that allows many opportunities. It
also allows one to find a specialization or position that they really
enjoy. It is a rewarding job in that one is given option to help some
one else. I am excited to start my career as a nurse and eventually
help many patients.

INTRODUCTION  Employability skills are the skills you have developed inside and outside of school that you can transfer to the workplace  Knowledge and abilities relating to a particular job  The ability to identify suitable job opportunities and self presentation for applications and interviews.
  • 5. DEFINATION  Employability Skills can be defined as the transferable skills needed by an individual to make them 'employable'. Along with good technical understanding and subject knowledge, employers often outline a set of skills that they want from an employee.
  • 6. BENEFITS  A set of achievements – skills, understandings and personal attributes – that makes graduates more likely to gain employment and be successful in their chosen occupations, which benefits themselves, the workforce, the community and the economy.
  • 7. SIGNIFICANCE  Employability skills are sometimes called foundational skills or job-readiness skills. They are soft skills that allow you to work well with others, apply knowledge to solve problems and fit into any work environment.  They also include the professional skills that enable you to be successful in the workplace.

  • 22. CONCLUSION  In conclusion,nursing is a field that allows many opportunities. It also allows one to find a specialization or position that they really enjoy. It is a rewarding job in that one is given option to help some one else. I am excited to start my career as a nurse and eventually help many patients.
