I am pleased to write this letter of recommendation on behalf of Jeff Roccaforte-Probasco. Jeff began
working for TDC Filter, Inc. in 2001. He was originally hired as a Receiving Manager, but it was apparent
he was extremely proficient in the area of computers and networking. When there was an opening for
Information Systems Manager in the company, there was no doubt in my mind that with his work ethic,
knowledge, and the passion he displayed for the IT field, that he could handle the job.
It is rare to find someone as dedicated to a job as Jeff. He was usually the first one in and out of the
building every day, worked weekends when needed and responded promptly to any issues that would
arise even outside of business hours. What is even rarer than his dedication, is his commitment to
documentation. Being in the IT profession, documentation is the key to a well-run network. Within the
first few months, Jeff had the network well organized and documented. I was always impressed during
my visits to his site with the organization, up-to-date documentation and efficiency at which he ran his
department.
It was after a few years in the position of Information Systems Manager that the company decided to
relocate from Cicero, IL to Bolingbrook, IL. This was a huge challenge and responsibility for IT. Jeff was
well prepared and made the move seem seamless and smooth. He single-handedly took his mid-size
network and transitioned it to the new location over the course of a weekend. It was business as usual
on Monday morning.
Jeff’s duties involve the administration, maintenance and troubleshooting all hardware and software for
the company including the SQL-based ERP system, Made2Manage. He is also responsible for the virtual
server (VMware) and SAN environments, maintaining an efficient local area network, nightly backups,
and administration of the Avaya phone system.
It is because of his work ethic, performance, dedication and innovation that I therefore offer my
recommendation of Mr. Jeff Roccaforte-Probasco without reservation. If you have any questions or
