TCS Campus Recruitment - 2012

Registration:

All the candidates appearing for the TCS recruitment process at Campus have to register on the Campus
portal and get the unique campus reference ID. Candidates who have not registered will not be
permitted to undergo the TCS Selection process. The portal link, username and Password and the Drive ID
(separate for UG and PG) will be shared with the TPO.

Online Application Form:

All candidates appearing for the TCS recruitment process have to fill in the online application form on
the Campus Portal. It is mandatory for the candidates to carry a print copy of the form and CV on the
day of the drive. The candidates need to affix their recent passport size color photograph on the
application form.

Eligibility Criteria: Mark:

Consistent academic record of an aggregate/average of 60% or above in Class 10, 12, Diploma,
Graduation (all semesters), PG (all semesters) as applicable

If the marks are in the CGPA format, then a note signed by the Head of Institute on the Institute
letterhead on the equivalent % of the same is required. A clear understanding of the conversion is
required. For example, a CGPA of 3 out of 5 does not necessarily mean a 60%.

Backlog:

2 pending backlogs at the time of appearing for TCS selection process is permitted. Candidates have to
clear all the backlogs at the time of joining.

Break in Studies:

Maximum up to 2 years break is permissible ONLY with VALID reasons. The break should not be due to
extended education.

Years of experience:

A candidate with more than 3 years experience is not permitted to participate in the TCS Selection
process.

Duration Criteria:

It should be clearly communicated to the candidates that the offer is subject to completion of the
course within the stipulated period as mentioned below. For Post Graduation Course

    •   M.Tech., ME and MSc duration restricted to 2 years
    •   MCA duration restricted to 3 years
    •   B.TECH and BE duration restricted to 4 Years.
    •   BCA duration restricted to 3 years.
•   BSc and BIT duration restricted to 3 years.
   •   Duration should be 3 years
   •   For Twelfth, duration should be 1 year
   •   For Tenth, duration should be 1 year

Test Waiver for Toppers:

   •   The Top 5 performers in the institute from any 5 disciplines can appear for the interview
       process directly without undergoing the test.

Note:
   • There will be no test waiver for candidates with pending backlogs at the time of the TCS
      Selection process.
   • TPO has to share the list of candidates who are eligible for the test waiver on the institute
      letter head signed by the Head of Institute before the Campus Visit.
