John Clegg's introduction to writing a CV/Resume that IT employers want to read.
(these slides cover CV Part 1 and CV Part 2 bootcamps from the SoT2015 programme)
You never get a second chance to make a first impression. The impression you give a potential employer via your resume or an interview is usually your only opportunity to communicate that you're the right person for the job - so make it count. While all resumes should employ a best practices approach to formatting and presentation, what you include in your resume should be customized to address the unique aspects of your career field.
While a CV is typically your first impression to a hiring manager or prospective employer, it's your interview that really counts. It your interview that convinces an employer that you truly are the right person for the job.
In this presentation, I'm sharing more about how to effectively search for a job, how to develop a resume for specific career fields and how to prepare for an interview.
Informational interviews are great for networking and learning more about a position, company, or industry you may be interested in. Use this handout for tips and advice on how to start.

Learn why a resume is important and how to chunk your work to learn what behaviours and core skills you have.
Also lots of tips on how to structure a resume for an IT job

Using recycled concrete aggregates (RCA) for pavements is crucial to achieving sustainability. Implementing RCA for new pavement can minimize carbon footprint, conserve natural resources, reduce harmful emissions, and lower life cycle costs. Compared to natural aggregate (NA), RCA pavement has fewer comprehensive studies and sustainability assessments.

A look back on an article on smart wastewater networks in order to see how the industry has measured up in the interim around the adoption of Digital Transformation in the Water Industry.
Understanding Inductive Bias in Machine LearningSUTEJAS
This presentation explores the concept of inductive bias in machine learning. It explains how algorithms come with built-in assumptions and preferences that guide the learning process. You'll learn about the different types of inductive bias and how they can impact the performance and generalizability of machine learning models.
The presentation also covers the positive and negative aspects of inductive bias, along with strategies for mitigating potential drawbacks. We'll explore examples of how bias manifests in algorithms like neural networks and decision trees.
By understanding inductive bias, you can gain valuable insights into how machine learning models work and make informed decisions when building and deploying them.

NUMERICAL SIMULATIONS OF HEAT AND MASS TRANSFER IN CONDENSING HEAT EXCHANGERS...ssuser7dcef0
Power plants release a large amount of water vapor into the
atmosphere through the stack. The flue gas can be a potential
source for obtaining much needed cooling water for a power
plant. If a power plant could recover and reuse a portion of this
moisture, it could reduce its total cooling water intake
requirement. One of the most practical way to recover water
from flue gas is to use a condensing heat exchanger. The power
plant could also recover latent heat due to condensation as well
as sensible heat due to lowering the flue gas exit temperature.
Additionally, harmful acids released from the stack can be
reduced in a condensing heat exchanger by acid condensation. reduced in a condensing heat exchanger by acid condensation.
Condensation of vapors in flue gas is a complicated
phenomenon since heat and mass transfer of water vapor and
various acids simultaneously occur in the presence of noncondensable
gases such as nitrogen and oxygen. Design of a
condenser depends on the knowledge and understanding of the
heat and mass transfer processes. A computer program for
numerical simulations of water (H2O) and sulfuric acid (H2SO4)
condensation in a flue gas condensing heat exchanger was
developed using MATLAB. Governing equations based on
mass and energy balances for the system were derived to
predict variables such as flue gas exit temperature, cooling
water outlet temperature, mole fraction and condensation rates
of water and sulfuric acid vapors. The equations were solved
using an iterative solution technique with calculations of heat
and mass transfer coefficients and physical properties.

HEAP SORT ILLUSTRATED WITH HEAPIFY, BUILD HEAP FOR DYNAMIC ARRAYS.
Heap sort is a comparison-based sorting technique based on Binary Heap data structure. It is similar to the selection sort where we first find the minimum element and place the minimum element at the beginning. Repeat the same process for the remaining elements.
3. TECHNICAL INTERVIEW
• You should know about every single word mentioned in your
resume.
• Interview will totally depend upon your technical skills for both C
language and your core subjects. Failing in any one of the above,
might put a full stop in the way of your selection.
• If you belong to non CS/IT background and you know only a specific
part of C language, inform the same to the interviewer, they won’t
ask you more than that.
• Prepare atleast 2 core subjects of your branch thoroughly and all
the basics of your branch.
• You should must know everything about your minor/major project.
It might happen if your project is a new variety of chocolate to
them, they will ask you to brief it from basics completely.
5. MR and HR ROUND
• The first and the most basic question that will be
asked from you will be “Tell me something about
yourself”. Prepare a brief 90 sec introduction.
• Know well about your 3 strength and weakness.
In addition with your weakness also mention,
how you are improving them.
• Brush up all your co-curricular activities and your
role in them.
• You should know about your future goals. They
will ask you a question, “Where do you see
yourself in upcoming 5 years”.
6. IMPORTANT TIPS
• Keep 4 hard copies of Resume.
• 2 hard copies of TCS application form.
• Arrange your document in chronological order.
• 2 blank node pads.
• 1 metallic pen.
