lyre, trumpet and a golden crown made of laurels)
• Juno his wife suggest Homer the writer of “Iliad”
• Venus recommends Virgil, author of “Aedes”
• Minerva goes for Cervantes, author of “Don Quixote”
• Jupiter stopped them from fighting.
• Jupiter allowed the justice to weigh the circumstances w/o any bias in her balance.
• She weighted the three books and found them all equal.
• Jupiter decided to give the lyre to Virgil, the trumpet to Homer, and the golden crown to
Cervantes.
