Eid-ul-fitr and Eid-ul-adha are the two main Islamic festivals celebrated in Bangladesh, a majority Muslim country. During these festivals, Bangladeshis enjoy three to four days of public holidays, and the happiness and joy of Eid is shared by citizens of all religions. The festivals mark the end of Ramadan and the Hajj pilgrimage respectively.
