You can find us in Portugal
• Palmela - is the municipality with the largest area
– about 465 km2
In the metropolitan area of Lisbon…
…It is located in the Setubal Peninsula
• and is part of the following natural areas:
▫ Tagus-Sado estuaries
▫ Sado Estuary Natural Reserve
▫
Administratively
The municipality is divided into 4
civil parishes :
 Palmela – Council seat and the
Administrative center;
 Pinhal Novo – Urban area, more
dynamic;
 Quinta do Anjo - Characterized by
its natural heritage coexisting with
strong industrial components;
 - Territories
with rural characteristics.
