Education flourished in the Al
Rustmyen states as part of the flourishing of Islamic
civilization in the Maghreb at that time.
This prosperity was not limited to the education of
young people, but went beyond it from stages to
higher education and beyond. This, contributed to the
emergence of scholars in all branches –the image
was dominated by religious sciences and the
flourishing of the intellectual and cultural movement
in the Sunni Al-aghaliba state and the Rustamyen
Abadya state.
The materials studied at Madrassa were similar
in the two states , and surely the doctrinal
Orientation seemed in a clear way at Abadya.
Although the Al-aghaliba princes encouraged
education in their country, they did not have a direct
role in the education process like the Rustmyen
imams who sat in the science circles as teachers and
guides. Women enjoyed an abundant amount of
education in the two countries, but the freedom to
move around and seek knowledge was more
fortunate for Abadya women in the Rustami
community than in the majority society affected by
the Maliki school of thought
.
The journey has flourished in seeking knowledge
here and there, whether it is the domestic journey or
the trip to the East, and the sons of the two countries
have contributed to the transfer of the sciences and

SO, active education was found among the Al-
aghaliba and Al-Rustmyen
.
And surely the doctrinal Orientation was clear here
and there, but that didn't prevent from mutual
presence between them and enabled the masses
Muslim to select their appropriate style of education.
The two states have represented bright picture of
Islamic civilization at the middle ages
