seniors, disadvantaged visitors – all types,

• educational activities in Prague Cty Gallery systematically about 18 years
• many of them focused on photography, new media, film & videoart
• monographic exhibitions (Sam Shaw, Jindřich Štreit, Milota Havránková, David Cronenberg,
Veronika Bromová, Andreas Feininger, Andreas Groll, Andreas M. Pohle)
• group exhibitions (Contemporary Czech Photograohy, Slovak Photography, ASA 400, …)
• cooperation with Leica Gallery Prague & Czech Centres in Prague (many exhibitons of
photography)
• realization of classical & experimental techniques, working with light, connections od new
media, film & videoart, crossovers to other fields of visual art
• the main atribute of our edcucation is variety & accent on visual & art part of photography

INTERNATIONAL EDUCATIONAL PROJECT
• cooperation of 8 European countries (Finland, Lithuania, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Italy,
Greece, Czech Republic)
• main task: conception, realization & evaluation of „digital ateliers“ – 6-hours creative
workshops connected wit new media
• our Czech digital workshops – focused also on photography
• every country – realization of 5 digital ateliers, so together 40 digital workshops
• main outputs – 2 publications: European Manual + National Toolkit (every country has its
own toolkit)
• methodological manuals for teachers, educators and lecturers in schools and
cultural institutions (museums, galleries, libraries, etc.)
• source of inspiration for them, ideal also for online education
• reflection of new trends and methods in education (interdisciplinarity, intermediality,
interactivity)
• crossovers to photography & film, literature & text, ecology & environment
• inspired by 2 italian artists and teachers: Bruno Munari & Alberto Manzi
